Chapter 26

Caitlin's pov

I inwardly groan, pinching the bridge of my nose and looking down at the ground."Ughh, where are you Mahogany?!"I mumble so he cant hear me but I'm wrong, he heard me clearly.

"Dont worry about her."I dare myself to look up at his beautifully forgivable face."Caitlin, please listen to me."He said.

He stepped forward toward me, but I backed away from him. He stopped.

"Caitl--"I cut him off.

"Just stand there. I will listen to you."I said, dont know if i'm going to regret it or not.

"Okay."He said, looking down.

He sighed, then come back to see me, I'm looking away from him and I hear him sighed for like the millionth time.

"I'll tell you what really happened. You should know, that I would never having an affair with a friend of my gorgeous fiancé"He said.

My cheeks redden, but I try to hide it. God damn it, Jack! Just talk about it, dont compliment me right now, it's not the right time.

"Eva came to the house and she suddenly kissed me. I do not feel anything from kissing her, it is much different when I kiss you, there's always sparks in my stomach every time I kiss you."He empahasizes the words 'I do not', moving forward slowly.

"Because I know, I didnt have any feelings for her. I love you, and if I could turn back time, I'll do my best to not break your beautiful heart."Now he's standing so close to me, I can feel his cold minty breath fanned my face.

"Eva trapped me, she's such a bitch for did that you."Now he grabbed my hands, and i let him.

"I want you to know that I love you and I cant be without you. I've missed you so much. I'm sorry, Caitlin."Now he's waiting for what my answer is.

I felt the tears fall streaming down my cheeks. I can tell that he's telling ne the truth by his facial expression.

All of that are just the act of Eve, Jack doesnt like Eve. Jack likes me, he loves me. I guess he deserves to be forgiven by me and I'll willingly forgive him.

"I forgive you, Jack."I hesitantly smiled."Thanks to tell me the truth."

Jack looks at me with shock expression but then his face turns into a sweet smile, his bright white teeth slowly reveals.

"But,"I suddenly said, making him tensed again.

"She's Eve. Not Eva."I giggle.

"God."He runs his hand through his hair and laughing a little relief.

Since he already close to me, I throw my arms around his broad shoulders and hug him, he tightly wraps his strong arms around my waist.

"It's Ok."I whisper back, slightly rubbing his back up and down.

"May I kiss you now?"A smile tugged on his plump lips.

I nodded and lean my head up since Jack is so tall. Jack leans down til our lips finally collide. Butterflies explode on my stomach like always, everytime our lips touch.

I missed his lips, I want to kiss his lips til I get tired. But there's no way I'll get tired of his soft plump lips. I'll like to kiss him like there's tomorrow.

He's about to pull away but I grab his neck and kiss him again because I still miss his lips. That's making him chuckle, so I pull away and my cheeks slightly turns red, making me look down.

Jack lift my chin up with his thumb and index finger til our eyes finally met. He leans down and gives me a small peck, making the sparks run through my whole body. We smile shyly to each other and I notice the bruise on his cheek.
