Chapter 30

Jack's

The sunlight slowly teasing my eyes to open them, I blink several times, stretching my arms. I accidently hit Caitlin's forehead causing her to groan and move to lay on her side.

She's sleeping next to me, that means she's not angry with me anymore right? I dont know, let's find out.

I hug her from behind, spooning her. I slowly feel comfortable being around her. Kissing her bare shoulder blade, I moved my lips to her ear and whispered.

"Baby, wake up."I whispered softly, running my hand through her soft silky hair.

"Hmmmmm.."She hummed.

"Come on, baby. You have to go to the campus today." I reminded her, rubbing the soft skin of her arms softly.

She slowly opened her eyes, I kissed her cheek when I'm about to get up but she held my arms causing a soft laugh to escaped my lips.

"Just one more minute." She said with a soft voice, closing her eyes back.

Laughing, I placed my head back on the pillow with a sigh of relief. She's not angry with me anymore. Phew..

After a few minutes, she snapped her head up then sat up on the bed making my arms off from her waist.

"Oh my God, Jack. It's 7 o'clock! Why dont you wake me up? Ughh." She yelled in panic.

I laugh at her, she's the one who asked to stay in bed for a few minutes.

"You'll use the downstairs bathroom, okay?" She asked, rushing to the closet and searching for something to wear.

"Okay."I simply replied.

"Hurry up, get ready! We could be late!" She yelled, throwing her clean clothes to the bed and then running to the bathroom.

I laugh at her. And I guess you know why.

I drove her to the campus, and we finally arrived.

"Just ignore the bitch."I said, referring to Eve.

"I wouldnt want to talk to her."she replied, sighing loudly.

"Okay, baby. Have a good day."I said, smiling then I kissed her forehead.

"You too."She gave me a quick peck and then exited the car. I laugh at her sweetness, she's so cute, no one could deny her.

Slamming the door shut, she waved her hand at me through the window and said, "See you later!" While I'm smiling like an idiot, kniwing that she's not angry with ne anymire.

Thank God, I'm in my car. So nobody can see me.

After dropped Caitlin to her campus, I sped to my building.

Sitting on my chair, I sighed, remembering that there's a lot of documents that I havent been completed. I'm over thinking about Caitlin yesterday, I couldnt focus my mind on my job.

I sat on my chair, shortly after my assistant knocked on my door and I let her in.

"Morning, Jack,"She greeted me, smiling.

"Morning, Vanessa."I said, rubbing my temples.

"What happened? You look frustrated."She asked, chuckling slightly.

"Not really, it's just the documents that havent been completed yesterday."I said, sighing.

Laughing, she took my documents and her eyes suddenly widened. Told ya.
