Ciel was worried, as worried as you had ever seen him, despite showing the symptoms of a common virus, but he knew that it was something much bigger, something much more dangerous than they had originally thought. Despite your often consoling words stating that you were okay, he was not in the slightest bit buying your act. He would usually drop it and take your word for it, you knew his hatred of lying and had sworn to tell him the truth but he had a feeling, a gut wrenching pain in his lower stomach that you were keeping something from him, that you weren't telling him the whole story. Not a minute ago he had tugged you in bed, ignoring your pleas for fresh air.

You loved being outside, loved the wind, the air, the scent, everything! But, after the doctors strict rules about keeping you warm, Ciel had ordered that all windows be closed and the fire place be on, 24/7.

With a heavy sigh, the navy boy entered his office, he had been putting off his paperworks for three days and Sebastian was pressuring him about it, so much to his dismay he left your side and made his way to his office, sitting behind the mahagony desk and sorting through all sorts of papers most being of no use to the Earl and he was swift to throw them into the trash can. He wanted to get back to your side, immediately, but due to his mind circling the subject of you he was unable to process a single word on the pages, they were all like blank sheets to him.

With a groan of growing irritation, the Earl propped his elbow onto the table and rested his cheek upon on his knuckle, huffing inaudibly the Earl turned his gaze elsewhere, his one blue iris gazing out the window, it was a rather chilly day but due to the heat of the manor he was burning up, loosening his bow tie the young boy rose, make sure the door was shut tightly before clambering over to the window, he had grown more muscular as he had grown, as a thirteen years old he had struggled to even so much as dress himself let alone open a window, it was around the time he met you that he really became independent, mostly because of embarassment he had begun dressing himself, the odd felling of caring about how you thought of him making the Earl queasy.

He remembered entering a ball, a dance held by her Majesty the queen, herself. He remembered watching as you frolicked around with a boy around about his own age and he remembered the pure hatred that had bubbled in the pit of his stomach as he watched, but he had no need to feel envious or jelous anymore, no other man had the permission to close their mouth over your own, no other man had the right to caress your body, you were his, the property of Ciel Phantomhive, the queen upon his chess board.

The mere thought brought a certain delight to Ciel's stomach, lifting the window he delighted in the swell of cool breeze. Taking in a deep breath, the male gaze upon the glorious garden only to catch a glimpse of his blonde staff member giving his lover a tour around the garden, even from afar he could see the tremble of her body, the weak steps she took as she followed the boy and a certain fur overtook Ciel's mind.

"So these are (favourite flower), they smell so nice, don't they?!" Finnian giggled, picking a flower and handing it over to the pale looking girl. She looked so ill and tired.

"Miss, are you sure you're allowed outside? You don't look well," the cute boy murmured as your slender fingers took hold of the stem, your eyes scanning each delicate petals.

"(Y/N), Finnian!" You jumped at the sound of Ciel's stern voice, dripping with rage, the boy stomped your way, Finnian cowered, knowing full well that he was in trouble. Bitting into your lower lip you watched as Ciel's eyes narrowed, "What on earth is wrong with you? You're sick and you were told to stay in bed! What are you trying to do, kill yourself?!" "It's not th-" "and you Finnian, I give you an order to keep her inside!" Ciel's gaze was on Finny now, he looked just about ready to tear the boy apart, manoeuvring around your weak form he made his way towards the shorter blonde, "You deliberately disobey me! You fool!" Ciel shoved the boy in the chest, ignoring your pleas for him to calm down, but you only lost your breath, the cold air causing your lungs to constrict, you reached for him but your arm only fell short, your body aching.

"You're fool, an idiot! She may get sicker, she may even die because of you!" "I-I'm sorry master Ci-"

"Sorry is not going to cut it!"

"Ciel..." you stammered but the boy was enraged, furious as he continue to peruse the man angrily. "You hear that Finny? She's going to die, because of you!" He was overreacting, he knew that but he couldn't calm down.

"Ciel..."

Finian held his hands up in defence but Ciel continue onwards, oblivious to your cry. The pain that ran through your veins was excruciating and the sudden paralisation that seeped through your skin, you collapesed to your knees, clutching your chest as you gasped for air, Finnian saw this but Ciel was far to gone to let the blonde to get a word in.

"Ciel!" You cried out, this snapped the boy out of his faze and immediately spun around, the anger melted from his face as he rushed over to you, the blood drain from your face and the words that left the boy's mouth was slurred and incoherent to your ears, you stared at his lips, trying to form some type of words, but it was impossible. Your gaze began to blur and Ciel became nothing but white, and then there was nothing.
