Dear reader (if there is anyone actually reading this out there),

First of all thank you. For giving this story a chance. I'd say you won't regret it but it truly depends on your personal taste.

This is a love story. This is not a love story. Wait, it has to be. But then again it isn't.

This story is what you want it to be.
It's a metamorphose in action.
It's about growing.
Or not growing at all.

It's very personal to me. I tried to make it as close to my own feelings and persona as possible to give it a genuine aura. I hate fake stories.
Only very good writers can write about something unknown to them and do it well, make it believable.

And I'm not a very good writer. But I'm hoping I can be a good enough storyteller. Or even just the act of putting my feelings into words has to count for something, right?

Either way.

If you don't like the story you're - hopefully - about to read, than I'm infinitely sorry that I couldn't meet your expectations.

I'm not very good at that. Pleasing people.

But with that being said... Please don't hate on me or my work for it. It's too personal, I don't think that kind of destructive criticism is healthy for either of us.

Spread love, always.

Don't copy, also. Not that I think my work is worthy of copying but... You know.

Go outside, explore, have an idea. Create something new and be proud of it.

Compliment a complete stranger.

Make them feel special today.

Everyone could use a bit of kindness and encouragement.

Compliment yourself.

Make yourself feel special today. Everyday.

And then, only then, read on.

This is for you, as much as it is for me.

Enjoy,

Lilac.
