There I was, bleeding out, a step nearer to death. They were coming closer, they could smell my blood. Reaching for my wound I pulled out a knife. Someone had stabbed me.
'AAAAH' I screeched, the pain was unbearable.
I started to crawl towards the other exit, they were gaining quickly. I couldn't die, not like this.
I felt someone haul me to my feet, my right arm was slung around their broad shoulders.
'I've got you' The familiar voice said.
...
I woke up. I was back in Miss Esters classroom.
'What's going on?' My voice shaking.
'Shhh your fine' The familiar voice said....it was Caleb. The rest of the students who stayed behind were crowded around me. I hurriedly sat up.
'Ow' I said through gritted teeth.
'Careful' he advised me calmly. 'You've been out for two days'
'I have?'
'Yeah and I wish you stayed like that' Alexa commented with narrowed eyes and crossed arms.
'Where's my group?'
All of them began to laugh.
'You mean your so called BestFriends?' Jacob laughed.
'They left' Caleb added.
'I don't blame them to be honest' Alexa smirked.
'No no no they wouldn't have' my eyes began to fill with water at just the thought of it. All of a sudden my attention was caught by something in the corner of the class.
'WHAT THE HECK!?' There was a puddle of blood and parts of a body chopped up and scattered in the fluid.
'WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!!?' A wave of fear rushed over me.
'Nothing, it's nothing' Caleb demanded.
'That's how your going to end up' -Alexa.
'ALEXA, SHUT UP' Caleb shouted at her. Alexa rolled her eyes and sassily strutted away from the crowd.
'CALEB WHAT IS THIS!?'
'LOOK EMILY, I HAD TO, MASON GOT BITTEN!'
' SO YOU CHOPPED HIM UP INTO TINY PIECES!!??' I exclaimed.
He looked down at the slightly bloody stained carpet and then at me.
'You're a monster' I bawled whilst climbing to my feet. Despite the agony, I had to leave, I didn't even want to find out what kind of sick game they were running here.
'I'm leaving' I declared.
'Byeee' Alexa waved happily.
'And where are you going to go?' Caleb approached me.
'Anywhere but here' I answered.
I pushed through the crowd, grabbed my backpack and flung the door open.
'Next time you almost die, I won't be there to save you again' Caleb called out.
'I didn't ask you to save me the first time'. And with that I exited.
