First story ever soo...

Beep! Beep! Beep! Bee – "Oh...my gosh!" I groaned as my alarm went off. I didn’t know why it was going off at 6 a.m. until I looked the calendar above my desk…

Yes, here I am once again...it's the first day of school, except this is my last because it's finally our senior year, baby! But, God, I do not want to get up this early! I mean who made it so that school starts by 7:45??!  Can't they make school start at, I don’t know....12? I'm sure that everyone would be a lot more pleasant at school then... Or they could at least make the summer break longer.

I stood up, only to sit back down, trying hide in the warmth that is my bed. After yelling at myself internally, I got up and went to my massive blue and white bathroom for a quick shower. The hot water felt so good that I stayed in way longer than I should have. After taking about 20 minutes to shower, I wrapped a towel around myself, and went to my walk-in closet to look for today's outfit.

After looking around for about ten more minutes, I decided on a pair of skinnies, my designer boots, and a black button up with a white tank top underneath. Before putting on my outfit, I go to the bathroom to put on eye liner and do my hair. I'm not really a make-up person; personally, I think most people look better without it on. Meh; to each is own.

I look at my clock to see I still have at least 15 minutes until I have to force Zac into driving me to school. I would drive myself, but....I don't have a car at the moment. That's a long story I won't be getting into soon. I might explain that later, but that’s a big maybe. Leaving my room, unfortunately I run into my brother, Zac, who decides to cuss me out for running into him right outside my door.

"What the hell are you doing right outside of my bedroom?" I asked.

"I was coming to wake your ass up."

                "Well, obviously I'm already up."

"Yea, I see that. Well get your ass downstairs before your late for school then."

I walked past him, down the stairs, and into the kitchen. Do we even have anything to eat for breakfast? I ask myself. Looking through the cupboards, I don’t see much, so I just decide whatever and go to find Zac. He was in the living room watching TV, but about to fall back asleep.

“Oh brother o’ mine; can you please do me a favor?” I ask in my sweetest tone while batting my eyelashes at him. He rolled his eyes at me and gave me an inquiring look. “Can you give me a ride to school since I don’t have my car?” He sighs, yet gets up nonetheless.

Once he found his keys, we finally got in his camaro, which is orange with black racing stripes. We’d made it to the school 15 minutes later. By that time, it was 7:30, and my best friend, Christina, came bouncing up to me as cheery as she always is.

“Bye sis, good luck.” Zac says, waving before he drove away.

I say hi to Christina and we talk about random things that have happened over the break. Then we head into the school to find the all of our other friends. We can't find them anywhere we go though, and we even looked in our usual hangout.

We were standing in the middle of the hallway when I got this weird feeling of being watched, so I look around only to discover a new kid staring at me. I knew he was new because I have never seen someone as hot as him at this school before. Trust me; I’d remember if I had. He had this longish dark hair hanging over his bright blue eyes and a body to die for...yet before my thoughts could go any further, I heard Christina yell my name.

I looked at her flabbergasted, "Um...yea?" I ask a little annoyed.

"Girl...what is up with you?" she asked.

                "Oh...nothing – I just – the new kid."

"Ooh a new kid?!” She screeched, “Where?" She yelled in my ear, ugh, she is way too excited right now. I get it though, since we don’t normally have any new kids around here. Who knows why…

I pry her hands off my arm and point in the direction where I saw him, "He’s right the–" I felt myself cut off when I saw he wasn't even there anymore. Looking around the hall, I realized he was nowhere to be seen. "Well…there was this guy over there just a minute ago..."

"Are you sure?” She asked; I nodded. “I didn't see anyone…” She was now scouring the hallways for this so-called ‘new kid.’ She pouted when she didn’t see anyone, “Was he hot?”

“I don’t know if you’d think so, but to me he was totally fine.” I knew there was a dreamy look on my face when I said this.

“Aww…oh well. We should really head to homeroom before we're late.” Christina said, “Mrs. Hellfire does not like tardiness at all." She added on.

“Trust me, I know.” I utter nodding my head.

With that statement and one more glance around the hall of dispersing students, we skip to our homeroom, literally. My name is Gabrielle Summers, and this is where I – unknowingly – started a very hectic senior year...
