The next morning I woke up early, but I wasn't tired at all for some reason. I was confused for awhile, because of the weird dream I had, though. Since I had more time to do whatever I felt like, I got up and took a nice, hot shower. During the whole thing, all I thought about was that dream, and if he could really be a vampire. I know it sounds crazy and preposterous, but you'd be surprised.
Now that I think about it, there were a lot of signs that showed that it wasn't too crazy. I mean, the weird eye color changes, his speed, strength, and don't forget how weird he was acting when I tripped. Huh...well there's something to add on to my to-do list. Of course I'm not going to just walk up to him and ask if he's a vampire; he'd think I'm insane. But, I'm not...I think.
When I finished my shower, I scrunched up my hair with moose and did whatever else I had to while in the bathroom. Then I went to my closet, taking my time on finding an outfit since I still had a little while before school would start. Hm...what should I wear? After a lot of debating, I went with torn up black skinny jeans, a white tank top, my favorite black leather jacket, and a pair black boots. A lot of black, but oh well because I like that color.
After I grabbed my phone and bag, I went downstairs to eat some breakfast. Can't miss the most important meal of the day, now can we? I thought, starting to think of some song off of SpongeBob. 'The most important meal of the day...serving it up Gary's way!' I sung in my head, or maybe I didn't since Zac was now laughing at me as he sat down at the breakfast bar.
"Where'd you come from?" I ask since he wasn't there just a second ago.
"Uh...my room?" He says in a 'duh' tone with a funny look on his face. I rolled my eyes at him. I made enough scrambled eggs for us both, then made some bacon for my brother. I wasn't really a big fan of bacon unless it was combined with something, like a BLT for instance. Done with my breakfast, I dropped my stuff into the sink and checked the time.
It was now 7:25 in the morning, and I was just now wondering how I was going to get to school in time. I would've asked Zac, but he had to leave for work five minutes later. Then there was the option of Christina, but I knew she'd already be at school by now. One other option would be Caden. The sad thing is that I didn't know him too well, so I didn't know if he'd be at school already or not. With those final thoughts in mind, I left the house, ready to run to school.
Turns out, I didn't even have to run to school. Caden was standing there in my driveway leaning against a silver Camaro. He was looking hot as ever even in just a black t-shirt with jeans and some Nike shoes. I couldn't see his eyes since he was wearing a pair of Aviators, his black hair slightly falling over the tops of them. Though, I could tell that he was watching my every move.
"Well, there's my knight in a shining car," I say teasingly as I walked towards the other side of the Camaro. He smiled brightly at me, shrugged a shoulder, and then followed to help me into his car. When he got in and started to drive towards school, I started to think about that dream again. Oh well, I'll just keep a closer eye on him than usual. That's okay with me, my pervy mind thought. "Okay, how'd you know to pick me up and at what time?"
"Um..." he started, but hesitated, "your friend kind of told me that you weren't going to have a ride, and that I should help you out." I roll my eyes; of course she would do something like that after the conversation we had last night. "I hope that's okay with you?" I nodded my head at him, knowing that even though all of his attention was on the road, he still saw my every move; it was a little unsettling.
