How is it? Good, bad?

I swear today was the longest day of my life! The seventh period bell had just rung, so students were now filing through the hallways. It's amazing that even though we're now seniors who are mostly 18, we still get a crap ton of papers that our parents need to sign. I was walking to my locker after U.S. government when Erik suddenly came up to me. Christina wasn’t with me since she had to go straight home to watch her siblings for her mom.
“Hey, Gabby.” He said flirtatiously. Where’d he even come from?
“Hi…can I help you?” I ask when he was still standing there.
“Erm…yea, I think you can actually.” There was a strange glint in his eyes now.
“With what exactly?” I was confused. What could he possibly need my help with? I’d now reached my locker and was putting in the combination. The next thing he said made me pause before opening my locker.
“I need some help with my English essay.” Say what??
“It’s the first day; no one has an essay to do. Not yet at least.”
“Whatever. Just come to my place and help me with something then.” I gave him a weird look. There was no way I’d ever go to his house, or anywhere with him.
“Um…yea, never going to happen.”
“Gabby, why the hell do you always say no to me?” He was getting upset…that’s not good at all.
"Do not speak to me like that. I don’t want to go anywhere with you, plus I have plans. You’ve asked me many things many times, and I say no every time. Some people would think you’d get the hint by now.”
By now, he'd gotten too close for comfort, and I was starting to freak out. You could tell he was pissed, especially since he practically never gets rejected. Then there’s the fact that his face was as red as a cherry. I would have to be the only girl who has never been interested in him. That’s because I see right through that nice guy façade of his to the jerk who only cares about himself and himself only. My freaking out escaladed when I noticed it was only us left in the hallways seeing as it was now at least 20 minutes after the final bell had rung, and the school looked deserted. Where are the teachers at when you need them? I thought desperately.
“Who's that Caden douche? Are you trying to replace me?!” He shouted. Where did this even come from? We go from me always rejecting him to Caden? This is absolutely ridiculous.
“Okay, what is wrong with you? And I can't replace you of something you never were and never will be.”
“What’s wrong with me is you won’t admit want me!” He was shouting in my face, and pushed me into the lockers, closing mine I’d just opened in the process. I closed my eyes, trying not to show that he was scaring the shit out of me, but it was pretty damned hard if you ask me. His hands were holding my shoulders so tight; I knew I’d probably have bruises by tomorrow. I wasn’t sure what would’ve happened if he wasn’t suddenly thrown away from me. My eyes shot open to see him flying through the air to the other side of the hall into the other row of lockers. He slammed into them with such force that they dented before he was sprawled face first on the floor with Caden standing as a barrier between us.
“I suggest you leave, and never bother Gabrielle again.” He calmly said; I was upset that I couldn't see his face, yet also relieved since his voice – yet calm – held a deadly tone that would scare anyone. I’d be willing to bet that Erik had shit his pants by the frightened look on his face. This thought made me laugh a little and Caden shot me a funny look. Well, that took away my laughter...
Erik scrambled to get up and ran away from us. Yet not before turning to give me a deadly stare of his own and say, “This isn’t over by a long shot.” I stood there staring blankly at a group of blue lockers until I felt something shaking me. Caden still had that cold look in his eyes and I wondered if it was my fault.
“Are you okay?” He asked worriedly.
“Um...yea, I – I’m fine.”
Once I said that, his eyes softened immediately, yet he still looked a little skeptical whether I was really okay or not. Nevertheless, he nodded before asking if I needed a ride home. I pondered that for a moment, because Zac would most likely be with some of his college friends by now. I would usually just walk if he wasn't here right after school, but one look out the school entrance told me I wouldn’t be walking today. It was pouring outside and pretty dark even though it wasn’t even that late. Normally, I like storms, but after what just happened, I wasn’t going to be walking through that.
“Actually, I do. Do you think you could, maybe...give me a ride?” I ask unsurely.
For the first time that day, though it was a small one, he smiled. It was one that made my heart skip a beat even though it only lasted a few seconds. He nodded and led me out the front doors. The weather outside was even worse than I thought it was. There were puddles everywhere, and I slipped quite a few times. He ended up taking my hand to stabilize me then lead me to his car. I have no clue how he could see so well, well enough to know where he was going. I tried to ask him that on the way to his car, but once I saw his ride, I was speechless.
Even through the rain, I could see that he had a shiny red Lamborghini murcielago. How he has this car, I may just never know. He tugged on my hand to get my attention, and then opened the door for me. There were freaking butterfly doors on it! “Thanks.” I said while trying to contain my excitement. I guess I didn’t do it well enough since he shot me an amused smile.
Once he got in, I asked how he had such a car, but his face turned blank of any emotion and he shook his head. Truth to be told, that was really weird, and I wondered if I said something wrong. Instead of responding to my question, he started the car and asked where I live. I told him the directions to my house, and the rest of the drive was filled with silence. By now, you couldn't really see anywhere, and it looked like night time, though it was only about half past four.
Once we reached my house, I said thanks. For some odd reason, I didn't want to say goodbye just yet, so I invited him inside. He looked at me for a moment before looking up at my house. It seemed like he was having an internal debate of some kind, so I told him it was okay if he didn't want to. He looked at me a moment longer, then shut off the car. We both ran to the front door and went inside, since the door was unlocked, oddly enough. The house was empty, which meant my mom and uncle were at work, and my brother was, in fact, with his friends.
After stepping in, I locked the door, dropping my bag on a table near the door, and took off my shoes. I instructed him to do the same.
But then the unexpected happened...
