Chp 19: Wildest dreams

Michonne's P.O.V

Rick stared up at me with his puppy eyes, waiting for my answer.. I just can't believe he wanted to marry me.
He was soft and gentle around me and not the tough warrior that he is. I feel like I'm weakening him..

"Rick, I- I can't." I said

There were gasps all around the room and Rick held his head down.
what the hell am I doing? I am deeply in love with this man.

"I can't believe you want to marry me but  I will, yes I will marry you!" I exclaimed, still wiping the tears from my eyes

he hopped up and pulled me into a hug, spinning me around.

Everyone clapped and Jay was the only one to  yell, "WOO WOO GET IT GRIMES."

Rick hugged me and cried into my shoulder and I ran my fingers through his curls, pulling his head closer to me.
"I love you." He whispered

"And I love you too." I said

I felt another pair of arms wrap around my body and looked back to see Carl hugging us too.

I lifted my arm and pulled him into our hug, as Rick kissed the top of his head.

"Jay, you gonna join your family?" Rick asked, staring at Jaden.

"Am I welcomed to?"

"Of course." Rick said

Jay ran down the stairs and hugged us. We opened our arms and squeezed him tight.
He was so warm and and small compared to us, although he'll be 17 tomorrow, he was still shorter than Carl, making Carl the superior one.

And believe it or not, Jay began crying too.

"Stop crying guys, you're gonna make me cry too."Carl said, backing away from the hug.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy." Jay sniffled

"Yeah, me too.. Me too." Carl said

We eventually stopped hugging when we realized Sasha and Abraham were awkwardly watching us.

"Well, I got to go on a run in a few.. Anything you guys need?" Carl asked, looking around, still smiling like a kid in a candy store.

Rick looked at me and smiled, "anything that you would see at a wedding."
