Chapter 7

There was a few minutes of silence once again, then Roc pulled up to the mall. After he parked him and Ari walked in and were deciding where to go.

Roc: "So where do you want to go?"

Ari: "Um I don't know." *looks around* "There's a Maurice's over..... OOOOO shoes!!!! We have to go over there!"

Roc: *chuckles* " Okay come on."

Roc and Ari were looking at shoes when Prod, Ray, and Prince came over to talk to them.

Ari: *grabs a pair of grey, and black Jordan's and puts them on.* "What do you think? Yes or no?"

Roc: "Yes, definitely a yes." *grabs them and buys them* "Is it okay if she wears out of the store?"

Lady: "I don't see why not, since they're paid for, go ahead."

Roc: "Thanks." *walks very to Ari* "Here put these on."

Ari: "I don't have any socks to wear with them."

Prince: "Roc? Is that you?"

Roc: "Oh hey Prince. What's up?"

Prod: *checking out Ari* "Damn Roc who's the sexy lady?"

Ari*: *hears him and walks over* "His sister."

Prod: "Oh hey Ari, how you doing?"

Ari: "I'm fine. Roc can we go over to American Eagle, I need more jeans."

Roc: "Yeah hang on. I'm talking."

Ray: "So what brings you guys here?"

Roc: "Its Ari's birthday today, so I'm taking her out. We got to get going, see you guys later."

Prod: "Okay. See you at school. Happy birthday Ari." *smiles*

Ari: *smiles back* "Thanks Prod."

Roc's P.O.V

Wow I haven't seen Ari smile for anyone besides me ever since mom left. I'm soo happy that she's having a good time, while I was out on my date yesterday I looked at apartments for me and her. I know its weird, a brother and sister living together, but I just want her to be a kid again, to laugh, have fun. I don't want her to have to constantly worry if dad was going to abuse her or not. I just want her to be safe.

Ari: "Do they even have my size here?" *looks through some jeans*

Me: "What size are you looking for?"

Ari: "14" *looks sad*

Roc: "14? Okay, here go try these on." *throws some jeans at her.*

No one's P.O.V

Ari went into a dressing room and tries on the jeans, to her surprise they fit comfortably. She took them off and put her own jeans back on and walked out, Roc paid for them and bought her a couple shirts, accessories, and some sweat pants. Hey walked around some more, until they both got hungry.

Ari: "I'm hungry."

Roc: "Me too. How about we get something to eat and then go see a movie."

Ari: "Really??"

Roc: "Yes really. Where do you want to go?"

Ari: "Hmmm there was a Mexican restaurant over by that one gas station."

Roc: "Okay, let's go there."
