Janessa and I took deep breathes, from running. I look behind us, and I see Jordan's body tied up. I can't see Janiza's body nor Remmi's, but I can see Josh's body just lying on the floor.
"Did you guys see the careers?" I asked.
"No, we didn't see them coming..." Caleb says.
"Shit! We've just lost 2 more people," I said.
"I'm sorry," Caleb says.
"Janessa did you see the other 2 careers?" I asked.
"No..." Janessa replies.
"They planned this day. Just like we did... Two people were supposed to ambush us, and the other two were hidden somewhere..." Jade says.
"They probably left when they seen the cannons go off with their friend's names," Caleb says.
"So what are we supposed to do now???" I asked.
"Well, we should look for a new place to sleep tonight. Staying away from the careers," Caleb says.
"This was the reason why, I made this plan. The plan was to come here, to kill the careers," I said.
"But, we could still do this," Jade says.
"So what? We should go out there and look for them???" I asked.
"There are just two of them, and we have four people," Janessa says.
"So then what? What's the point?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" Jade asks.
"I mean after the careers are dead, what are we supposed to do? Kill each other?!!" I said.
"I don't know... We'll have to fight there. Because the Gamemaker is anxious," Caleb says.
"I guess we'll have to fight..." Janessa says.
"Well if comes to that point, I'll make sure I'll kill you," I said.
"Hey, we're not the problem here. There are specifically two people here who we need to keep in mind," Jade says.
"Who?" Janessa asks.
"Ms. Sillitoe and the gamemaker," Caleb says.
We all stayed silent... "Then somehow we'll need to fight them. If we have a chance," I say.
"I mean, I guess..." Janessa says.
"Ok let's leave... I don't want to be here by the bodies, and the meat grinder," I say.
