We kept on talking about the same topic. How we were all forced to train for the Games.

"I remember... Going in for the first time. I got into the gym, and I first chose a sword, but I felt like I wasn't good enough," Jordan says.

"Is that the real reason?" Alondra asks.

"I eventually found a station to train with a trident. Pretty easy. I just kept doing my method... I would hold the trident correctly. I would then imagine fighting with it. Stabbing on the right side, then left side, then I'd spin my body, and stab in front of me. So I eventually got a hang of it. For the following days, I went on with the trident," Jordan says.

Jordan then picked up his trident, and we all clapped.

"Alondra," I said.

"Alondra go next," Janiza said.

"Okay. Just like Jordan said, I first felt like an idiot. I first tried the knives, then the spears, tridents, and the bow. That same first day, I eventually found the perfect weapon to train with. A sword. Shit, I remember stabbing the manikins as if it were my enemies. I trained with it for the rest of the days. And I knew that this was the right weapon," Alondra finishes by touching her sword.

"Okay me next," I said.

"Well just like the two of you both said, I entered the gym, and was terrified. I didn't see anybody I knew there. So I said, 'You can do this... With or without your friends' and I moved along. I tried some weapons and I actually did like the knives, but I felt they were too slow. I did learn a trick. It's when you hold a dagger straight up in your hand and with your fingers, you twirl the dagger in the palm of your hand. But I moved along to other stations. I eventually found a bow and arrow, and I immediately got the hang of it, so I chose this as my skill to show the coaches. But before that, I remember seeing Josh practicing in the same class. He'd give me dirty looks, but I wasn't afraid of him," I finished.

"And then we were brought to this place..." Janiza says.

"Yeah... I wonder what would be better, Stanley's class or this," Jordan says.

We all stayed silent and didn't answer the question, but Jordan was the only one who was laughing at the comment he said.
