Caleb made a fire, and we all sat around. I looked up at the sky, and remembered Alondra's quote... "Those stars are always going to be our stars." I could still hear her voice in my head. I then pointed at the sky, "They're up there..."
"Who?" Caleb ask, while looking around.
"Calm down Caleb," Janessa says.
"I meant the others... Who were killed," I say.
"They're watching us up above," Jade says.
"If only they were here to help us," Caleb says.
"I'm going to kill Sillitoe," I say.
They all looked at me.
"You're going to kill her?" Jade asks.
"Of course I am... She put us in here, she's the one who's tormenting us. She's taking the ones that are important and making them into memories in our head. It balances the need for revenge. With the least lost of human life," I say.
"Alan's right... We need to give her what she deserves," Caleb says.
"I agree... Let her have a taste of it," Janessa says.
"But how are we going to escape this?" Jade asks.
"I'll figure it out..." Caleb says.
"Okay... In the moment, let's eat," Janessa says.
I see Jade taking out food from the bag, her and Janiza were packing. I ate bread, Caleb ate cooked chicken, Janessa ate cooked steak, and Jade ate fish. We ate through the night, and we all stayed up. And we avoided the careers.
