As the night progressed, Joselyn and I didn't speak to each other at all. Then that's when another cannon went off. I looked up at the sky as it said, "Gianna." She was a white girl who had dirty blonde hair, and was wearing a mix of a red and brown flannel. "Half of the people in the game are all probably our friends," I thought.

I could then hear someone in the cave getting startled.

"Who was it?" Anaja whispered.

"Gianna," I whispered back.

"Oh..." Anaja replied.

I could then hear her going back to sleep. From there, I admired how dark and quiet it was. It hasn't been this quiet for a few hours ago... I looked back at Joselyn, and she was still trying to fix her phone.

"God damn phone!!!" Joselyn whispered.

"That phone is dead because of how much you use it, and how much you drop it," I said.

"Ughhh. I hate how you're right..." She sets her phone down besides her.

"Well it'll get better..." I said.

"Hopefully..." She says.

"How's your math grade?" I asked.

"I don't want to talk about it..." She says.

"Stanley is an asshole," I say.

"Well duh," She responds.

"We'll get through this... Ok?" I asked.

"Yeah. But first," She stands up, and she grabs her sword. I raise my right eyebrow, and think she going to do something bad, I start to clench my bow as hard as I can, ready to fight back.

"My god damn phone needs to go," She says. She throws her phone in front of her, and I keep my eye on her. She then stabs the sword into the middle of the phone. Then I calm down.

"Wow... Didn't know you'd do that," I said.

"Yeah well, I'm just waiting for the cannon to off for my phone," She jokes.

"Ha. That was good, " I said.

The good thing was that Joselyn and I actually got along. I guess I was able to trust her... I think. But at least nobody else died that following night. But we all knew we had to wake up in the morning to get farther away from the careers.
