Nialls POV
OUT OF ANYONE ETHAN OF COURSE HAS TO COME BACK!! I hated the guy. He dated Avery for a while and broke her heart. He even secretly knew I liked her and rubbed it in my face. The guys a douche! I nearly snapped when he was trying to pull the sweet guy act on Jamie. She was too innocent to see under his pretty boy cover. What got me pissed the most is when they were dating and I watched Avery tell Ethan something and she left and after the coast was clear he kissed another girl. Who does that?! I can tell Harry isn't a fan of him either. He gives him glares every now and then. I just want him to know Avery's my girl and its final!
Avery's POV
I managed to avoid Ethan all day thankfully. Now I was meeting up with Jamie. She said she had plans for us. But when I saw who was standing by her it made me freeze. It was Ethan. What is he doing by her! I rush over and take Jamie's arm and pulls her away from Ethan "oh hey Ave Ethan here invited us to go bowling. Doesn't that sound fun?" She asks grinning. Jamie and can't sense a persons emotion in disguise quick and she'd probably be hurt. So I decided as long as she's here he probably won't try anything. "Yeah,a real good time" I say trying to make it sound believable "ready to go?" He asked. We both were brought to school by Harry and Niall so he was actually our only choice for a ride "yeah" Jamie chirps as she walks to the car. I stay close by her and get into the back seat with her as Ethan gets in the front. The ride there was always as Jamie was on her phone and Ethan positioned his mirror to face me and he'd wink at me every once in a while only for me to return it with a scowl. In his dreams. I'm happy with Niall and that's final. As we arrived at the alley we all stepped out. Ethan tried holding my hand as we walked in but Id slip out and clutch Jamie's arm. She'd look at me confused but I replied with a grin. After getting shoes and equitment we found our lane,number 26. "Shall I put in the names?" Jamie asks before I could volunteer and say I'd do it Ethan jumps in "ok" he says giving her a grin. She leaves to put the names into the machine. Ethan stands by me and leans into me "while she bowls we could round the corner and" he left off with a wink. I scoffed at him "as if" I say rolling my eyes "c'mon you loved making out when we were together" "yeah but I have a boyfriend now so I rather not" I say going by Jamie. "Ethan your up first" she says standing infront of him as he grins "thanks dimples" he says as she giggled. I pull her aside "do you like him? Do I have to remind you,you hand a boyfriend?" She rolled her eyes and smiled "no I don't like like him. I just haven't had a guy friend in a while to hang out with other then Niall and Harry" she shrugs. "Why do you like him?" I didn't hesitate "no!" I said quite loud trying to give her a hint. But soon Ethan came back "your up dimples" he says as she goes to bowl. Won't this be fun? Note sarcasm
After a few rounds of bowling and a secretive pinch on my ass Jamie excuses herself to go to the bathroom. No! Don't leave me alone! "Well we have some time alone,finally" he says smirking "I don't like time alone. I like being with people. Why don't I go get Jamie?" I say trying to escape but he pushes me against the shelf that held bowling balls. "I really would love to have you in my arms again" he says with sly smile. "I would love if you moved back from whatever school you came from" I say honestly "I know you don't mean that. By the way your little friend is cute" I rolled my eyes "don't even try at Jamie she's takened like me" I say as he starts to move in. I tried squirming out but he wouldn't let me move. I got really scared
Jamie's POV
Today's been fun! Good day so far. I'm glad I finally have a guy friend again to hang out with. He's also pretty cute. Which helps. But I excused myself to the bathroom. After doing what needed to be done I came out. They weren't where they originally were,they were by the bowling shelf. I watched as Avery would snap at him and he'd keep smirking. I send the text to Niall and rush over to Avery and Ethan. He started to lean into her I noticed she was gripped not being able to move with a look of scared on her face. I wasn't gonna let him do this. I go beside them and take a bowling ball "hey!" I yelled startling Ethan and relieving Avery. "Avery Niall just texted me saying he's on his way to pick you up from some reason go wait outside" I say using my eyes to say I got this just go! She grinned and hugged me while rushing outside. "Hey dimples" I grinned "don't call me that. What were you doing to Avery?" I ask seriously "what? Nothing. I think your seeing things" I giggle "I think your feeling things" I reply he looks confused "what things?" "This" I say before dropping the bowling ball on his foot causing him to groan in pain. I took the opportunity to grab Avery and Is purse she left and mine and rush out. Luckily I told Harry to pick me up at this time so he should he outside. Thankfully he is and rush into the car "drive!" I say as he doesn't question but does so. Hope that dick enjoys a broken foot
Avery's POV
We just left the bowling alley. I noticed I forgot my stuff but trusted Jamie would get them. Niall looked worried. "What happened?" He asked "you remember Ethan?" I ask as he tenses up telling me it's a yes "he had Jamie fooled he was a nice guy and asked if we'd like to go bowling. Me not wanting him with Jamie went along. He tried making a move on me. Jamie came just in time" Nialls jaw clenched. He didn't ask anything the rest of the drive until we were in my driveway. He parted so we could catch our breathe "what was that for?" I asked "I got scared I'd loose you to him again" he said hugging me. I smiled into his chest.
