I wake up to my annoying alarm clock, buzzing and beeping to get me up. It's pure torture. I rise out of bed, yawn, moan because it's so early, and open my eyes. Everything is blurry again. It's normal. I think. Doesn't everyone have blurry eyes in the morning?
I jump out of bed, my eye site still a bit blurred, and walk to the bathroom. I get dressed into shorts and a T-shirt for gym. After I run down out narrow staircase, I make myself a bowl of Frosted Flakes. At least that's what I think it is, I still can't really see. I see a tall, faint figure in front of me, my mom. She's probably washing last nights dishes. I pack my backpack and eat my breakfast, heading out the door after.
"Bye mom!" I yell, blowing a kiss to her.
"Bye honey! Have a great day!" She answers. I walk to the bus stop, stepping on several sticks that make me stumble and fall. My hair is rattled when I get there. The big yellow bus comes. I walk on and find an empty seat easily, luckily not toppling over.
Buzz buzz. I look on my phone, a text message from someone, I'm not sure who. I put my thumbprint in and click the greenest button on my screen, hoping it's the messages app. And luckily, it is.I open the chat with the blue dot and see in big letters and kiss emojis the name Emmet. He's my amazing boyfriend, we're the perfect couple. I can't read what it says, So I ignore it. The bus stops as we arrive at our school and I stumble off.
For some reason my first four periods went by in a whizz. My blurriest became worse and worse and I couldn't see the board. I fell asleep in History, my second period class, and when I awoke my blurriness was gone and Ms. Pamela didn't notice my dazzling off. I felt fine for the
first time that day. The last two periods before lunch were also great. And then it was lunch.
I walked into the crowded cafeteria, my green lunch box swinging in my hand. I saw my friends sitting at a table laughing. I started to walk over to join them. And then it happened, in the speed of light.
I started to feel dizzy. My head swam as the noise filled my ears. My eyes started to blur again. The noise was fainted now, even though just a second ago it had hurt my ears like heck. And then I was falling, my head hit the cement floor, hard. It felt like my head had cracked open. I heard a scream, and then silence. And my lights turned out.
