I wake up for a moment, just a moment. I hear someone sobbing, pleading, I don't know why though.
"Please! Let me go!" I hear a voice crying.
"I'm sorry, but there's no room." A booming voice says. Go where? I ask myself. What room? Where am I? I'm lying down on something, and I hear doors start to close. The sound pierces my ears. I hear sirens and shouts from outside of the doors. And then I go unconscious again.

I wake up in a strange room. I'm lying on a white table wearing a robe. The room is glowing and there's equipment on a metal cart. Tubes are coming out of my arms and head. I knew I was in a hospital but why? What had happened?
I hear a door squeak open and close. I hear footsteps getting louder and louder. They reach the end of my bed. I look up to see a man with dark brown hair and pale skin, wearing a white doctors jacket.
"Hello Samantha Pummel. I see you've waken up." The doctor says in a low voice. "How are you?"
"Fine, except for where am I and why?" I ask trying to be polite with a little sarcasm added.
"You're in Pamper Hospital for Children." He says. He doesn't respond to the next question. Did he not hear me? I ask again.
"Why am in here?"
He inhales a big breath. "Sam, you've been diagnosed with brain cancer."
