"Christi! Come down here!" My mom yells from the stairs.

As I trudge down the stairs, I think, What could be so important to interrupt my sunscreen?

When I get down there, she asks me, "Do you remember our special lullaby?"

"That's really that you wanted to ask me?"

"Just answer the question." Mom sighs.

"Suffer suffer, scream in pain, blood is spilling from your brain. Zombies gnaw you like a plum, piercing screams and you succumb. Suffer suffer, scream in pain. You will never breath again." I sing.

"Do you remember who taught me that song?"

"Grandpa Dennis?" I ask.

"No, your great grandmother Mavis taught me."

"Cool, can I get back to putting on my sunscreen before I burn up completely?"

"Christi, I called you down here because your great grandmother Mavis is here to see you." She moves and I see a young lady behind her. Her black hair matches mine.

"Hey, Christi." She says.

"Your my great grandmother?"

"Yeah,I don't look it, but I'm actually 188 years old."

"Ok, now you gotta be kidding."

"No, honeybat, I'm a vampire. So are you. We are both descendants of
Dracula. He's my father, and your great-great-grandfather."

"This is a trick." I sigh.

"No, I'm telling the truth, and my dad would like to see you."

After figuring out that I am a vampire and my great-great-grandfather Dracula wants to meet me in Transylvania, I finally finished lathering on my sunscreen.

Mavis helped me pack my bags. She told me not to bring many pairs of clothes because she would share some of her old ones.
