My name is Ariel Storm. I'm one of the newest campers at Camp Half Blood. For some reason, the gods are mad. According to Chiron, it's up to Percy, Annabeth, and me to find out why.
I woke up and realized that I was not at home. I tried to get up, but fell off the bed. Suddenly, the door opened and light exploded into the room.
A man with scruffy hair and beard walked in with a younger boy and a blonde girl. The younger boy has dark brown hair and sea green eyes. The blonde haired girl has grey eyes, like storm clouds. The man with the scruffy hair is wearing a leopard print t-shirt and khakis.
"What's your name?" The man said.
"I'm Ariel, Ariel Storm." I replied.
"My name is Mr. D, this is Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. They took care of you while you were asleep for the last three days." Mr. D sighed. He looked as if he did not like to be here. I remember his face somehow. Not from life, but from a book.
"Are you Diony-" I began.
"Do not say it. Names have great power here." He yelled. Dionysis walked out of the room.
"So, Ariel, you can't be a human, otherwise you couldn't get in here." Percy says.
"Duh Seaweedbrain! It's obvious she's a demigod!" Annabeth punches Percy in the arm. Percy rolls his eyes.
"Come with us Ariel." Percy said. I get up, slowly so I don't fall. I follow Percy and Annabeth out of the room. I turn around and see the house that Leonel and I passed out on the porch. I start to remember him.
"Uh Percy, where's Leonel?" I ask.
"Oh, the satyr? He's fine. He's just in a meeting with Chiron and Mr. D" He sighed. What? Leonel can't be a satyr!
"Leonel's not a satyr." I begin. Leonel walks up and I realise he's not wearing pants. Instead of people legs, he has furry goat type legs. He has hooves and a tail, too.
"See, what did we tell you?" Annabeth insisted.
"Sorry I couldn't tell you sooner, Ariel. I had to keep it a secret otherwise the elder council would punish me." Leonel apologized. I told him it was ok.
"So, what is this place?" I ask. I look all around. It looks like a summer camp, with funny looking cabins.
"This place is Camp Half Blood, the Greek demigod training camp." Percy replied. "Each of these cabins represent a Greek god. As in Hades, Zeus, Poseidon."
"Percy is in the Poseidon cabin. I'm in the Athena cabin."
"Why are each of these kids in specific cabins?" I question.
"It depends on their godly parent. Mine is Poseidon, and Annabeth's is Athena." Percy told me. He did resemble the god Poseidon. He had dark hair and seaweed green eyes. He smelled of the ocean.
Annabeth looked like Athena, too. I read in a book that Athena had Storm Cloud eyes. She had blonde hair (though Athena had brown hair) and was very wise looking. But it doesn't depend on looks.
"That house that you woke up in is The Big House. Over there is the training area. The cabins are over there. Cafeteria is there. Fire pit is there." Percy tells me.
"Well, we gotta go. See you later, Ariel!" Annabeth confirmed. I have a feeling she does not like me.
