Percy is trying as hard as he can to stay away from me, but this camp is only so big. I feel bad, not talking to him about the letter from yesterday. I can't bring myself to it. Maybe if I knew who my father was, I would have a little bit more confidence. What if my dad is Poseidon? That would be weird.
Today, Percy gave in. He didn't try too hard to stay away. He was just a few feet away from me when I was sitting at the breakfast table.
"Percy, you don't need to be nervous. You can sit by me." I tell him. He scoots next to me.
"I'm sorry that I am acting so weird. I just don't know if you are my half sister or not." he sighs. "What if we turn out to be half siblings?"
"I'm pretty sure that we aren't siblings." I punch him in the shoulder.
He still seems worried.
~TIME SKIP~
After lunch, I lay in bed, praying to every male Greek god I can think of. Pleading them to give me a sign on which of them is my dad. I wish I knew. I sit there, rereading the note from Percy. What if this is a trick? Nah, probably not.
