The voices whispering over each other in hushed rapid tones in your ears.
There is blood...everywhere...on the floor...on the walls...on your hands...bodies...mountains of bodies....burning...alive...screaming...

And then,
It's gone.
It's quiet.
Standing in front of you is a woman.
Pale skin, pale lips, white dress, white hair, she looked like a ghost, a lovely ghost, a solid ghost. Too solid to be a ghost. She was real, you were sure of it. So sure that if you touched her you would not go straight through her.
She looks like someone you once knew.
You remembered.
"Mom?"
"It's been a long time."
"Where are we?" there was nothing around, no sky, no sun, no trees, no birds, nothing. Just a never ending world of a white room.
"We're in the darkest corner of your mind."
You clenched your fist together,"but why? And why are you here? And why did I hear those voices? What's happening?"
"We're here because you lost your friend," she chose to answer the one question. You knitted your brows in confusion and your mother smiled," her name was Scorpio."
"Scorpio?" you said, the way the name rolled off your tongue was oddly familiar," I never met her."
