Don't read this on a bad day

Phil...

Patiently, you waited cheerfully at the airport at Phil's gate. He was coming back from this years VidCon, which you were unfortunately not asked to go to. But that's okay, you thought, you had Phil and in the end that's all that should really matter. Phil went on plenty of trips and you never were able to meet him at the gate before due to your lack of good memory, so you were hoping to surprise him.

You waited another fifteen minutes, clutching the flowers in your dainty hands, until people finally started walking out of the plane. A good amount of twenty more people came out, your heart pumping fast as you were overwhelmed at the thought of seeing Phil again, til he finally walked out..with a girl. You over looked this, thinking its just a friend. But then you saw something you never wanted to see. Never to think. Never to experience the awful dreadful thing in front of your very, broken and in tears eyes...

He kissed her...

It wasn't just a kiss on the cheek, it was a passionate embrace with an adjustment of the hair (a move he did with you after a good night out with you), and a passionate kiss on the lips that last a good 5 seconds. 5 seconds of hell. 5 seconds of peer torturing hell. You couldn't turn away, but couldn't bare it any linger at the same time. And before you knew, you recognized her.

It was Layla. Your biggest fan and best internet friend Layla. Her hair was long now, and dyed blonde. She dressed so differently, as if to impress. You were curious why her and Casey hadn't talked to you in a while..but you never imagined this.

The flowers dropped out of your hands, collapsing to the floor along with your tears. You were expressionless. Every emotion inside of you was fighting each other except for all the good ones. Joy was out. Love was out. Excitement was out. Ad so on the list goes. You were glued to the ground. And your eyes were full of tears, but no sound could come out of your mouth.

Until you both made eye contact. His eyes seemed full of regret and fear at the same time. Your face, still expressionless, was red from the embarrassment and anger bubbling inside you. You then changed your face to show him what he now meant to you as you stomped on the flowers and kicked them away, some of the petals still pasted to the floor in front of you. You ran as fast as you could. Faster than the speed of light. Something changed within you that day. Something you'd never let go.. You could no longer be that half glass full girl. Your full bitchyness you needed to survive when you were little was back.

And it was ready to destroy.

Dan...

"Yes!!" You shouted as a sensation flew through you. "Victory!" You were right about Anne on Attack on Titan, rather than Dan. You had to tell him this, you didn't even care if he hadn't seen it yet.

You quickly speed dialed his number, pausing the episode. Ring...ring...ring...

Hi this is Damn Daniel here, please leave a messa-

You hung up. He hasn't been picking up or answering your texts as much lately. But this usually happened about once every two months due to editing. So naturally, you looked over it.

But, being the cheesy girlfriend you were, you decided to surprise him...WITH YOUR VICTORY!!! You grabbed your keys, jumped into your car, and drove to the nearest ice cream store.

Fifteen minutes later

The ice cream store was packed today, so it took you a bit longer than usual to buy two vanilla cones.

You arrived at Dan's flat with the ice cream in both hands and banged your head on the door to knock.

"Just a minute." Said a girls voice. You assumed maybe Dan was just stuck in quote on quote "Jessica mode". You waited until an actual girl opened the door. You stood there, smiling on the outside but curious, confused, and shocked on the inside.

"Um...hi? Who in heck are you?" You said. She looked at you disgustingly.

"Um, Dan's new girlfriend. After he dumped you." She said. Then, the longer she stared at you, the more the pieces came together. Her face changed...and so did yours. But not the same. Her jaw dropped as your teeth grit. Before she slammed the door you shoved the cones in her big colorful mouth.

Though you were pissed, you stood outside the door to listen to the drama. You heard choking and spitting from the girl, obviously from the ice cream. You heard her yell and then a confused Dan. Then you heard his voice raise, and more yelling from her. Then crying and yelling, and more and more crying...and then a comforting Dan. The Dan that comforted you when you read the hate comments. The Dan that never lied to you. The Dan who you thought loved you.

Not the Dan you knew now. Now there was silence. Now your emotions were going crazy. You didn't know what to feel. But you weren't happy or anything near it.

You turned away, tears in your eyes. As you stormed off, Dan not even aware of what you were feeling. Nor that you knew...

This was war...you huffed as you got in your car.

"This is war."
