Chapter 27

*Madison's P.O.V*

"Oh shit..." I mumble as I fake a smile.

"Madison!" My brother who I haven't seen in forever yells.

"Hey Payton," I say awkwardly as he hugs me.

"What happened?" Payton questions me.

"I fell and hit my head pretty hard," I lie.

"Dammit Madison," he mumbles, "I guess it was good that I was in town for business when I got the call or else I wouldn't have seen you in forever." Payton looks down at his feet, "Where have you been?" He asks sadly looking up.

"Oh, I've been on tour with these nine," I look down unable to face him.

Payton nods his head, "How are you and Austin doing?"

"Um, good," is all I tell him.

"Also, everybody back at home misses you. I hope you visit sometime, okay?" he puts his hand on my shoulder.

"I miss them too and I'll try to visit sometime," I look up and give him a hug.

"Text me tonight okay. We should meet up tomorrow if you can," he says and lets go.

Ashton wraps his arm around me protectively. Did he not hear that it's my brother? "Who's this douche?" Payton asked.

"Ashton." I said plainly.

"You cheating on Austin?" Payton asked putting a hand on his hip.

"First off, Austin is the douche, not Ashton. Austin is an abusive bastard. That's why I'm fucking here! For fucks sake! Ashton is one of the sweetest and most kind and loving person I have ever met! But your DOUCHE OF A FRIEND, MAKES ME SCARED AT NIGHT! Because that's all Austin is. A monster." I yelled.

Everyone's mouth was open. People looked at us like we're crazy. Well, we are. "And I'm scared to break up with him. I'm scared he'll do something to hurt me again. I didn't do anything and he put me in the hospital." I whispered. But everyone heard.

I looked up and I saw Payton in shock, Ashton mad, Louis and Harry looking upset and mad, Niall looks like he's gonna blow, and the girls are already gone, looking for Austin. Well fuck.

"They could get hurt! Go after them!" I shouted since I couldn't really run.

They all ran after them probably actually just going to kill Austin. Ashton had stayed behind with me. "So, uh Madison?" Ashton asked after about 5 minutes after they had left to go beat up Austin.

"Yeah?" I asked looking at him.

"I-I-" he stuttered but was cut off by car horn.

"Get in the damn vehicle." Louis voice was heard from the car.

"Tell me later okay?" I said.

Ashton nodded and we got in the car. "Where is everyone?" Ashton asked after noticing there is no one else in the car.

"Beating up a douche." Louis stated.

"Oh." Ashton said.

We parked in front of the hotel. We didn't ask questions we just followed Louis to a room. Which was right across from the girls' and I's room.
