Strange love

A Healed Heart

The next morning I roll over and Michael is still there fast asleep, I smile and sit up but just before I could get off the bed I feel something grab my wrist I look down to see Michael's hand around my wrist, I turn completely facing him now.

"Well good morning to you too"

Michael let's out a deep laugh and pulls me close to him I can't stop giggling I just feel so happy with him, "I have to go to work Michael " he grunts and lets go I chuckle at his little temper tantrum he's throwing . I grab his face and kiss his forehead 

"Look I will be home by four since it's Friday I get off work an hour early then we can do whatever your heart desires" 

Michael looks at me with a serious face " I want you to meet someone tonight , I am going to explain everything tonight I promise it will all make sense to you so when your done work come right back here and then we will go"

I nod and kiss him one more time then put some clothes on and head to work but this time I bring the coffee's.

 Lilian and Mark are already in the store and I walk over to them and hand them each there coffee's 

"Alright so two sugars one milk for Mark and three sugars two creams for my dear Lilian" 

They both give me a huge smile as well as a hug from both of them, after a successful morning of mixing paint for customers and selling some power tools to a gentleman I head over to the break room when I see Lilian having some soup and gestures some towards me and I accept her offer I sit down next to her as she continues to smile I know exactly what she's thinking.

"Alright Lilian spit is out what is it?" 

She gives me another huge smile and finally says it " He came back didn't he? And you got laid? is that what the kids are calling it these days"

I nearly spit out my soup when I meant Lilian's eyes I burst out laughing " Alright how did you know?"

Lilian looks at me seriously this time "Brittany my dear i've known you long enough and consider you my daughter and I know when my daughter is heartbroken and I also know when it's been put back together"

When she says the word daughter my heart flutters with happiness and love. Well I guess it's time to come clean to Momma Lilian 

" Okay Momma, you were right I was heartbroken.. He spent the night with me then disappeared the next morning for over a week and no explanation or no word from him until last night he showed up at my house late at night and we spent a really amazing night together and when I'm done work and I head home he's going to explain to me why he left and things like that." 

Lilian-"Well my dear even though it isn't my grandson, I am still so happy for you now I better get to meet this fella soon and Mark will feel the same way"

A few hours later we get everything ready to be closed for the weekend, I walk up to the front door and lock it flipping the closed sign over.

"Alright my loving parents I am off to get an explanation from the mystery man" I give them both a big hug when Mark whispers in my ear

"Kiddo if he tries to hurt you or breaks your heart again , he will meet the end of my shotgun"

I laugh and adore how overprotective he is which makes me smile knowing that I have a father figure around as well as a loving mother. 

As soon as I pull up to the house I run upstairs and get changed into some black jeans and a black crop top that says Bite ME on it taking my hair out of my ponytail I give it a quick brush through and I call Michael, he answers on the second ring.

Michael- " Hey Love, come over"

I hang up the phone and lock the front door and head out the back door over to Michael's.
