Chapter 13 Cop Call

As I sit on the couch watching Blair sitting up on the blanket Lilian made her as she  she plays with a rattle and is also holding in her other hand a red teddy bear Michael bought her.Michael walks into the living room with two cups of coffee and hands me one as we sit there admiring our growing baby girl she looks over at Michael and says "Dada" we both look over at each other and smile, "OH MY GOD she said her first word!!" I walk over and scoop her into my arms and bring her back on the couch with us as Michael holds out his pinky as she reaches for it and holds it tight when I kiss her forehead I notice her mark of Death behind her ear too exact same spot as where mine is. we spend the afternoon playing and cuddling up to Blair when I hear my phone going off I hand Blair to Michael and go into the kitchen and grab my phone not recognizing the phone number I answer it anyways.

"Hello?"

Cop-"Hi Brittany? This is Sheriff Williams I have a few questions to ask you about the Murders that occured at Smiths Grove Sanitarium last halloween and about 7 months ago the death of Dr Loomis." 

I freeze up not knowing what to think as I reply quickly " Listen officer I don't know what your talking about the only thing I know is what I heard on the news just like everyone else."

Officer Williams-" Well Miss I think you should understand that your vehicle was spotted near Smith Groves the night of the Murders, And you do live beside the infamous Michael Myers."

"I have to go my daughter needs me bye." I hang up the phone fast as I walk back into the living room shaking, I sit down with Michael as he gives me a look of concern.

Michael-"Baby what's wrong?Who was it?"

" It was an Officer he says someone spotted my car the night of the Halloween murders and he knows a male was with me he suspects you are still alive .." I have tears in my eyes as Michael hands me Blair as she puts one of her tiny hands on my cheek I give her a kiss. "Michael what are we gonna do?"

Michael-"We will figure this out baby don't worry.."
