Chapter 9 Oh Baby!

A few months have gone by as I am now four months pregnant and have a cute baby bump going on I admire it as I'm still laying in bed beside Michael which is the happiest feeling in the world cuddling up beside the man I love stroking my bump makes me smile, when I hear my ringtone start going off I reach over and see that it is Lilian. "Hey Momma what's up?"

Lilian-"Oh honey you're awake! Perfect, so I was going to ask you what you want me to bring over to your house for the baby shower?" I simply giggle at the fact only Lilian would ask what she should bring over. "Well momma you bring over whatever you like my best friend Ally and my brother James and there newborn daughter Ella are coming from New York today too so come on over with Mark this afternoon."

Lilian-"Okay dear I will see you later love you darling."

And with that she hangs up, I am so excited today for my friends and family to finally meet Michael well for Ally and James to meet him, This baby shower is exciting I can't wait for all the people in my life to meet in our home now that Michael has officially moved  in with me

Michael- "Good morning beautiful"

I look up at him and smile "Good morning handsome,are you ready to meet everyone today?" For once  Michael doesn't even hesitate his excitement is unbearable.

Michael-"Fuck yeah I am so ready baby, ready to meet everyone else  in your life and ready to celebrate our little boy"

"Hey, we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet we can find out at our next ultrasound on Monday"

 Michael-"Are we going to find out?"  

"Hmm, maybe we will or maybe we will keep it a surprise "

As it becomes later in the day everyone starts showing up Mark,Lilian,Ally,James and their newborn daughter. The first thing I do is go straight to Ally and James I squeeze them tight and look down at my beautiful niece in here car seat sounds asleep, "She is so beautiful you guys!" Seeing Ella makes me eager for the arrival of ours,After introducing everyone Lilian and myself are headed to the living room as we see the men are all chatting and seem to be getting along.

Lilian- " Here dear I made this for the little one." She hands me a gift bag and when I open I pull out a beautiful and soft hand knitted baby blanket the color red and a little sewn in patch that says "We love you little peanut love grandma and papa" a  few tears run down my cheek as I give her a huge hug and walk over and hug mark."

Ally and James give me and Michael some cute unisex baby clothes, as the day winds down everyone leaves when it's just Michael and I going through all the amazing stuff we got from our family and friends.

Michael-" So I was thinking, we should get started on that spare room you have and turn it into the nursery."

I give him a simple smile and a kiss on the lips  as he puts his hand on my stomach and whispers we love you little one.
