DOM'S POV

It was getting late, no it was late. Where was Aiden? He's been gone all day, and when I say all day I mean all day. I honestly don't understand why he left, why he couldn't just accept me for me and realize that I need time? Still, I did understand him, it's not like I'm so stubborn that I don't even consider what he said, unlike him. He just up and left and tried to hide the fact that he was leaving from me too.

Knowing that he was leaving, not even trying to work this out, just leaving, really hurt. Especially after what happened between us yesterday. I know he probably thinks it’s for the best but hearing that door close and knowing that he was gone broke my heart, again.

As soon as I heard the door close I ran downstairs but Aiden had already pulled out of the driveway. By some miracle he looked back at the house, I know he saw me, he looked directly at me, but instead of coming back inside he hit the gas and drove away, away from our problems, and me.

Now sitting here in front of the couch I can't help but check the clock every five minutes, each tick of the hand seems to be an eternity that Aiden is gone.

I sigh frustrated. Where is he?

It's already half past nine which means he's been gone for more than twelve hours. Where is he? Who is he with? What's he doing? These questions keep popping up in my head. This boy is driving me slowly but surely insane!

I've spent the better half of the day thinking and going over everything that Aiden has told me and I can see why he feels that it won't work out if we keep us, our relationship a secret but I wish he would understand that it scares me half to death knowing that my parents will know my sexuality. It's not the same for him as it is for me, his parents may not like the fact that he's attracted to guys but they will understand him, my parents will disown me and remove me from their lives forever and I can't handle that.

As I sat on the couch pondering this, a beam of light came in through the living room window. Headlights. Finally, Aiden was back. I got up from the couch and went over to the window, I saw Aiden get out of his car along with Gary. Why was Gary here? Both of them walked towards the house. I saw them both reach the door then hesitate, they began to talk. What was going on? I saw Aiden raise his hand and knock on the door. Oh, that's right; Aiden didn't have a key to the house. I walked over to the door and opened it, allowing them both inside.

My eyes sought Aiden’s; he looked back at me with a bland look. Was he still mad? He looked at me a second longer before looking at Gary, "It's the first door on your right upstairs." he said. That's when I noticed that Gary had a gym bag hanging on his shoulder. This couldn't be good.

Gary nodded and turned to look at me, "I hope you don't mind me staying over for the night, Aiden and I have something we need to do tomorrow and it seemed easier to just stay here for the night." he said.

"I don't mind in the least." I said giving him a half smile.
