_____________________________Okay, so obviously this is a new story. I have been working on it for a while. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to put in this yet so if you have any suggestion text me on my page.

Prologue
23rd of June 2002
I squeak as a big bucket of cold water is tipped over me and jump up from my spot on the grass where I and my friends were talking about our dolls. My golden hair is plastered to my heart-shaped face and my green eyes are wide and alarmed.
Jared is laughing at me as he drops the bucket and runs off towards the bouncy castle.
It's my sixth birthday today and although Jared can be a Meany sometimes he is one of my best friends. His sixth birthday was two months ago and it means he thinks he can bully me sometimes.
I run after him while I hear both our parents laughing and our friends shouting out encouragements for one of us.
We jump onto the bouncy castle and I tackle him, pinning him down so he can't try anything.
I'm not one of those girls who starts screaming at boys play fighting. I'm the type of girl who would get into the fight just for fun. Its because Jared and I have grown up together so I've gotten used to playing with him and he plays dolls with me sometimes, though he won't tell his friends that.
We all live in this huge caravan park with at least ten little cabins.
My parents bought this place when they were younger and before they had me and my big sister Carry. The park is in this small town called Buckpill. It's mainly in the middle of nowhere but so many people pass it and because there isn't another town for another 200 km most people who are passing by stay here. Jared, Carry, our friends Mary, Sarah, Dean, Luke, Nick, our parents and I all maintain the cabins and the fields so they always look pretty.
To us, we are all family and this is our home.
I give Jared my best angry face as I continue to pin him down to the floor of the bouncy castle but the truth is I'm not really angry and I think he can see that.
"Okay, I'm sorry. Please let me go." He pouts out his strangely big pink lips as his blue eyes shine with amusement.
He has shaggy brown hair which is naturally curly. He's always liked a lot of hair and so do I.
I giggle then jump up and help him to his feet just as my mom calls out to us.
"Jared, Crystal, lunch is ready." She calls from the pick nick table.
"Race 'ya?" Jared challenges as we jump off the castle.
"You're on." I grin and we bolt back to everyone to continue to celebrate my birthday.

It was a few weeks until the end of primary school. Jared and I were both twelve and next year we would be in year 8. The first year of secondary school. We were both excited at becoming older. We were like any other kid our age; we were looking forward to becoming adults. We were ignoring our parents when they said becoming an adult is the worst thing that can happen and when we get older we will wish we were innocent kids again. No matter what they said we always believed that becoming an adult would be magical and somehow bring more meaning to our lives.
