Chapter ten

22nd of September 2015

Five days later:

Today I am going home.

A five day old Sammy and I have been staying in the hospital for the past few days just so Maria can ensure we are both healthy. And now it's time to introduce him to his new home.

My parents and I are in the car, mom is sitting beside me cooing over a fast asleep Sammy in my arms.

So far everyone loves him. My parents look like all their dreams have come true. Sarah and Mary have already begun organizing his first Christmas, Easter and Birthday. Chase has been helping with everything we need and Carry adores him so much that she has decided to move back to the park just so all his family will be around him while growing up.

I can already tell Sammy will never be without when his family is surrounding him.

We pull up into the caravan park where everyone is waiting outside my cabin and allow mom to help me out of the car.

Although I have been resting I am still a little unsteady on my legs but I guess that's just the result of giving birth.

"Damn girl, you make good kids." Chase jokes as we reach them.

He's got that right. Sammy is definitely going to become a good looking man when he gets older.

"Obviously, Crys is hot and the daddy must have been really sexy to get her attention." Sarah scoffs as if it's obvious.

Dad doesn't look happy at being reminded that he has no idea who Sammy's father is so he can't beat him to a pulp.

Though Carry chuckles in agreement, this gets a look from mom.

Uh oh, she's going to want to know who he is now that she knows Carry knows as my sister gives her a sheepish smile.

It's just a miracle that no one else notices, mainly dad.

Sam decides now is the perfect time to wake up and start getting fussy and I'm grateful.

Nice save bud.

"He's hungry; I'll see you guys later." I smile as a mom helps me into the house and into my fully stocked bedroom.

She gets everything comfortable for me but before she leaves so I can breastfeed her grandson she gives me this look that frightens me.

"I want to know who his father is at some point, even if I have to nag you for the rest of your life." And with that warning, she leaves my room.

Great, there is no way she is going to let that subject drop anytime soon. I'll just have to try extra hard to keep my little secret a secret for a while until I'm ready to tell everyone.
