(23) Confession Fess Up

( H I R O )

Y/N and I have been friends for as long as I can remember, and it's always been that way.

I can never seem to change that.

Truth is, I've always like her.

Those little quirks she has, the way her eyes squint when she encounters an awkward situation, etc etc.

But, well, today, is going to be the day I confess to her.

Today is the day, that I will tell my true feelings towards her.

Well, that is if I change my mind and cowardly back up.

But, I have Tadashi here with me, hopefully to actually help me out, and not tease me about it.

"So, bonehead, you ready?" He says, I nod slightly, but then shook my head.

We were standing in front of Y/N's lab. The bell was about to ring indicating the end of our free time, and 5th period was about to start.

Tadashi facepalmed, "C'mon Hiro, fess up today, or else some other dude might jinx you."

"I know, I know, just."

"Just what?" He asks, slight annoyance in his tone.

"I'm scared." I say, my hands shaking.

Tadashi sighs, "Pull out your hands."

"W-What?!"

"Do it."

Pulling my hands out, with my palms together, he slaps it.

"E-eh?! WHAT THE HELL TADASHI?!"

He smirks, "That's a little trick I learned from Dad,"

"Huh?"

He smiles, "Though, the drawback is that you can't do it yourself."

I look at my my hands, they stopped shaking.

"Thanks 'Dashi." I say, he looks at me nodding.

"Now, go in there, and tell her you love her!"

Tadashi practically commands, pushing me in the doors of Y/N's lab.

Here we go.

(Y O U)

Bursting through my door was Hiro Hamada.

"AH! WHAT THE F HIRO?!" I shireked hitting him in the head with a pencil.

"S-Sorry!" He exclaimed, blushing like a tomato. I sighed, and helped him up.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask, he muttered something and blushed, his hands were shaking, he was nervous. I could tell.

"Hiro, what's going on? You're nervous." I said, he widened his eyes, and laughed nervously.

"Well, erm, Y/N, you see, I have," He starts, I nod.

"I have something to tell you." He states, I nod, sitting back in my chair, I gesture for him to sit down in my F/C bean bag.

"Hiro, calm your tits first. Sit down." I laugh, he gulps nervously but nods anyway.

I look back at my computer, plugged in my earphones and listened to some music.

Great.

Just grand.

She told me to calm my tits.

Such embarrassment.

I look at her, she was typing away on her computer, with her back facing me.

Good, good.

Face to face fess ups are hard, this is better.

Take a deep breath, okay.

"Y/N, I've been wanting to tell you this for a while now, and truth be told, I like you." I blabber, looking down at the floor, "Actually, I like you, a lot and I think that you're really, actually, no, I know, that you're a smart, funny, beautiful girl. And, yeah, I know, how cheesy of me."

"You're always there for me, even when we fight, we always make up. But, I wanna be more than best friends. S-So, can we?" I stutter, looking up at the possible worst moment in my life.

Or best.

But, neither happened.

"Sorry Hiro, what were you saying?" She said, spinning her chair around to face me, plugging out from her ears, headphones.

"E-Eh?" I stutter, she didn't hear me?

"You? Did you hear me?" I ask, her face was full of confusion as she shook her head.

"Erm, no. Why?" She asks, I shake my head, "N-Nothing!"

"M'Kay?" She says, "Are you sure you're okay? You've been acting off lately."

"Me? Off? No, it's fine." I said, "Okay. If you say so." She says.

Well, maybe today's not the day.

But, I guess, I did technically did tell her.

Hmm, I look at Y/N.

Maybe, I have the guts to tell her after all.

I smile.

But just not today.

I'm sorry, I accidentally posted the draft. But, I patched it up now, so, it's all good.

As usual, I have two requests pending and I know it's been a month and I'm SO SORRY.

I'm almost done writing the chapters on notes and I just have to copy paste it.
