Hiro x Reader. Sorry for not updating for a hella long time, but this one is really long I promise :) and my writing style kinda changed, eh, not sure, but this was written periodically so excuse any mistakes. Part one of two. Alright, enjoy!

She furrows her eyebrows as she writes word after word, her emotions turning into sentences. Her fingers curl around the ballpoint pen, as she taps it on her chin in thought, before continuing with a satisfied grin visible on her face. She mumbles inaudible words under her breath, whilst the (genre of choice) music playing in the background echoed throughout the empty apartment.
The birds chirp melodically outside her bedroom window, while the hums of engines of the vehicles driving past accompany it. The female heaved a sigh, leaning on the (color) chair, her (your eye color) darted around the off-cream walls of her bedroom, and the pile of laundry she had told herself to wash, which was laying at the corner of the room.
The ceiling fan blew gusts of wind onto her face, she scrunched her nose, blowing a stray lock of hair away, she straightened up and cracked her knuckles, "I really need to finish this." She muttered, tracing the corners of the lined paper delicately with her index finger. Her mind seem to race as she did so, ideas upon ideas of situations of what could happen to the protagonist filling the space in her creative mind. She spun around and stared at the wooden stand at the corner of her room, an unfinished painting sitting atop of it. She pursed her lips, would I be able to finish it by the end of this week? Being an art student and part-time fanfic writer was difficult, you twirl a lock of hair around your finger and sighed heavily once again.
You put down the pen and tied your hair into a ponytail. You slip on your apron that hung from the doorknob and gathered your painting materials. Once done, you drag the chair near the stand and exhaled, eyes narrowing. Your fingers gently stroked the tip of the paintbrush, in thought, feeling it's soft texture. You dipped the brush into the paint, and started to let your imagination run wild and free.

The hustling of stressed students and various parts and screws falling to the tiled floor of San Fransokyo's Institute of Technology was the only thing to be heard in Hiro's ears. He bit his lower lip, and knelt down to see his recently-failed invention. "Tsk tsk, what happened here?" He uttered to no one, and began untangling wires, and hammering things into place, he walked to his computer, checking if he programmed something wrong. When no errors were seen, he groaned and slid down against the eggshell-colored walls of his lab, "What am I gonna do?"
A gentle knock was to be heard several moments later, he stood up and brushed himself off, wanting to look at the very least presentable, and walked up to the door. "Hey Hiro," a weary looking Wasabi was at the door, his dreadlocks falling into his chiseled face, covering some of his features, "I brought you tea in a can, I've heard that tea can help reduce stress."
Hiro smiled at the male appreciatively, "Thank you, stressed too huh?"
Wasabi simply shrugged, "Everyone is to be honest, Honey Lemon's freaking out and Gogo has a migraine, she went to the infirmary, in fact."
Hiro's eyebrows narrowed, "That's awful, how about Fred?"
Wasabi rolled his eyes and chuckled, "He caused a lot of tangled wires, missing parts, shortage of screws and two explosions."
Hiro laughed and traced the bottom of the can with his calloused fingers, Wasabi spoke up, "Y'know? As you grow up you start to look more like your brother." The prodigy's eyes widened at this and gave him a weak smile, "I try to be like him, he's my inspiration." Wasabi nodded and ruffled the male's tousled hair, almost getting his finger stuck in one of the tangles, "He was an inspiration to a lot of people, well, good luck Hiro!"
