You can choose to read this, or skip over it I don't really care.

I've been going back and reading "The Bodyguard", as I do sometimes for inspiration, and as I was reading the comments I noticed a few things. Some of y'all have a serious problem with the characters I've chosen to play Ivy, Caya, and Nami. There were about 42 comments on these pictures, and about 34 of which that were negative. That's some shit I wont stand for.

I think it's pretty funny how you guys can sit up behind a computer screen (with someone other than yourself as your avi) and talk shit about another persons' looks. That is so hateful and insecure to me. If you don't like the way a person looks, fine but don't drag them in the comments because I hate negativity like that. I can't help to think that if you're so quick to judge a character in a book, then you probably judge the people you come into contact with on a daily.

It's so hard to love yourself in this society. And it's girls like you (the ones who leave hateful comments) that make it harder for girls to truly embrace how they look. We as women are so critical and judgmental and it's so sad. It's easier for girls to down someone and bash them than to uplift them. You all have allowed society to dictate what is and what isn't beautiful, when everyone has beauty in them. Beauty can be found in everything, and just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

If I see anymore comments about the appearance of a character I will delete them, because this is something I take seriously. As I've said before it's so hard to love yourself in this world. And you guys may think I'm tripping because this is just a book, but no I'm not. At the end of the day there are still actual people behind these photographs, and I write to teach you guys. I want you all to learn something from my books, and I want you to grow right along with the characters. Y'all were so hard up on Ivy about being judgmental toward Kellen, but a lot of you fall into the same category.

I'm gonna get off my soap box, but just remember to uplift your sisters instead of degrading them. You are beautiful, and the next girl is too. Just because she doesn't look like you doesn't make her any less beautiful. To that girl out there that doesn't love herself, because society has deemed her looks "ugly", just know that I love you. Look in the mirror and see past your flaws, you are beautiful inside and out. Don't let anyone tell you you're not.

Matter fact I want everyone to drop ONE thing that they love about themselves in the comments.

Now I'm sure y'all wanna know about the update. lol. One of my readers messaged me and asked for a longer update, so I am working on that. As I always say, I write for y'all so if you ask for it I'm gonna try my best to deliver. Hopefully I can get something posted before the weekend. (fingers crossed)

love always,
