"Okay this is taking too damn long, they should be back by now." I state pacing. "Just give them time." Deaton says. "Time! It's been 12 hours! You said a few minutes!" I yell. "It's different for everyone. We don't really have many test cases to go on." Deaton responds.

"Lia, just calm down. We've all got someone we love in there." Lydia says. "Easy for you to say. Everyone I have left is either in that water or waiting to be sacrificed. If I lose them there is nothing trying me to my humanity and you wouldn't like me very much without humanity." I confess.

"What do you mean without your humanity?" Isaac inquires. "Vampires live a very long life. That very long life entails loss and pain. We have a metaphorical switch in our heads that allows us to not feel emotions if it all gets to be too much. It usually leads to a lot of murders, but hey, we don't feel guilty about it. Until we turn it back on." I explain.

"That is interesting." Isaac replies not pushing the subject. We then make small talk for four hours hoping not to go crazy waiting for them. Allison is the first one to get out of the water, then Scott, and lastly Stiles.

"I saw it." Scott says. "I know where it is. We passed it. There's a stump, this huge tree. Well it's not huge anymore. It was cut down. But it's still big though, very big." Stiles rambles. "It was the night we were looking for the body." Scott elaborates. "Yeah the same night you were bit by Peter." Stiles states.

"I was there too, in the car with my mother. We almost hit someone." Allison says. "It was me, you almost hit me." Scott states. "We can find it. What?" Stiles questions. "You were out for a long time." Lydia answers.

"How long is a long time?" Scott asks. "16 hours." Isaac replies. "We've been in the water for 16 hours?" Allison questions. "And the full moon rises in less than four." Deaton informs us. I don't care that Stiles is soaking wet I pull him into a huge hug.

"You scared the crap out of me. Never do that again." I say into his chest. "I'll try not to." Stiles responds. Deaton hands them towels to dry themselves off with. "Now that we know where to Nemeton is, I have to tell Deucalion." Scott informs us.

"No dude, you are not going back with them." Stiles says. "I made a deal with Deucalion." Scott states. "Does anyone else think that sounds a lot like a deal with the devil?" Stiles rants. "Why does it matter anyway?" I question. "Because I still don't think that we can beat Jennifer without their help." Scott answers.

"He trusts you more than anyone. Tell him he's wrong." Allison demands. "I'm not so sure he is. Circumstances like this sometimes require that you align yourself with people you'd normally consider enemies." Deaton states. He's not wrong, I've done it more than once back in Mystic Falls.

"So we're gonna trust him, the guy that calls himself Death Destroyer of Worlds? We're gonna trust that guy?" I questions. "I wouldn't trust him, no, but you could use him to your advantage. Deucalion may be the enemy, but he could also be the bait." Deaton explains.

The door opens to reveal Ethan. "I'm looking for Lydia." Ethan says. "What do you want?" Lydia asks. "I need your help." Ethan states. "With what?" Stiles interrupts. "Stopping my brother and Kali from killing Derek." Ethan answers.

"That seems like a pretty important issue to attend to, don't you agree Lydia?" I question. "How can I help?" Lydia asks. "Just come with me." Ethan says. "She comes back in one piece or Allison over there will shoot you." Stiles threatens. "He's not wrong." Allison states.

Lydia leaves with Ethan. Stiles goes off to get something of his dad's that we can smell. We go to the Argent's to do the same. "Just grab anything. Stiles, I'm not smelling your dad's boxers. Socks? Okay, I'll smell the socks." Scott converses with Stiles.
