Naruto, Kakashi, and Sai crowded around the letter from their favorite cherry blossom haired girl.

"My names the first one so I should able to read it first!" Naruto argued, trying to snatch the letter from his Sensai's hands.

"Has she replied to me? What did she write?" Sai asked, trying to peer over the grey-haired man's shoulder to read the writing.

"She likes me more so I should get to read it first!"

Sai's brow furrowed. "I don't have any memory of her saying that."

"It's true! Why would she like you? You call her ugly!"

"It's a friendly nickname. My book says that-"

"To hell with your book!" Naruto exclaimed, throwing his hands up.

"Here." said Kakashi, thrusting the letter into Sai hands after reading it.

"HEY!" Naruto shouted, fuming.

Sai shrugged. "Sakura may not like me much but Kakashi does."

Naruto glared at his Sensai who paid him no attention. He was too consumed in his own thoughts. Sakura was...........giving up on Sasuke? What had happened? She had always been so hopeful and convinced he was good and now she was suddenly giving up on him?

Kakashi was relieved. At least Sakura now knew it was time to give up on the young Uchiha. But he was also surprised. He wanted to know exactly what had happened in Orochimaru's hideout.

"WHAT!" Naruto yelled after Sai had handed him the letter. "NO RAMEN?!?"

He was silent after he read the rest though. Sai was also quiet, not even making a comment about how ramen wasn't necessary for survival.

Naruto, not trusting his own eyes, reread it quickly.

'Hey guys,

I'm fine. A little neglected, but fine. Naruto, you would hate it here. No ramen.

Um, Sasuke's Sasuke.........but worse. I haven't really talked to him yet and I doubt I will. I think it's about time we also give up on him like the rest of the village. He's not who he use to be.

So it won't be a problem Kakashi.

And I miss you guys too! Please tell everyone at Konoha I said hi! And can someone watch over Tsunade? If Shizune's too busy at the hospital to watch her it'll get pretty bad. Just make sure she stays away from the sake and gets her work done.
