The rest of the day passed like a breeze. After I was led into my room, I took a quick warm shower and jumped onto the fluffy white bed. I was too tired to "look around" as the questioners told me to do afterwards. The room grew dark as I fell into a dream.
In my dream, I was chasing a strange shadow until me myself was nothing but a shadow as well. I heard an eerie voice speak to me as I tried to climb out of the endless dark pit that I had fallen into. "Sleep now, your effort is useless" the voice chanted. Soon, I became hypnotized by the soft voice and my body started to fall into the endless void.
"Wake Up!!!" A voice yelled as something tried to pull me out. Now, I realized that I wasn't in a void, but that my eyes were closed. When my eyes opened, I couldn't see my body and I had no voice. When I tried to move, a cool breeze blew past and I crashed back onto the dirt. "Hurry!" Someone yelled at me before I heard a sharp piercing scream before something thudded to the ground.
I spun around to see what happened, but at that moment, l fell back onto the dirt path as a dark figure slammed down on me. It turned to face me as it said in an ancient voice "Soon, even you will not be able to stop us. At the next Lunar Eclipse, we will have all the power to burn you and your forces. Soon, the world will end in flame, and a new world will be born in its ashes. A world where all the lands will be Shadow-Phoenix. All the waters will be Shadow-Phoenix. Where all the universe will be Shadow-Phoenix!"
A cold flame flickered in his- it's dark eyes. "Accept my challenge?" I knew he would take advantage if I said no, so I replied "You're on" Amused by my answer, he said "I thought you would call it quits before I destroy you in pain. Well, see you at Challenge, if you can make it"
