Fun Facts About TC2G!

I figured I'd give you guys some fun facts about TC2G that might not show up in the book that are 100% true. Here we go!

-Max, Ross, Barney, and Red do exist in the book. They are part of the group that fled the Kingdom after the Darklox attack. You won't being seeing their characters. At least, not the ones from the dimension the book is set in.

-Alyssa is actually aromantic and asexual! She's much more interested in exploring planets than she is in a relationship.

-Jeremy was not going to die at first. Jenna was going to be the twin to die, and then I thought it would be better to see what would happen if I put a character who was always optimistic through a situation like that.

-I designed the Shadows to be kind of like a mix between school bullies and first-enemies-in-a-game. They seem scary and love to act scary when you're less powerful then they are, but if you're more powerful than they are, it's shown they're actually cowards.

-Macey, Skylar, and Shane are all bisexual.

-The Shadows were originally going to be kind of like mindless soldiers. They did what Darklox said, and that was that. But I thought it would be more amusing to make them cowards.

-The reason Skylar got a perfect shot on Not-Sky in the Fear Room? She could see where the gashes on Tyler were appearing from. They were appearing from above him.

-Fear Rooms actually weren't going to be a thing until very recently. A speaker came to our school and told us, "If you want to know what your characters are really made of, you need to know their worst fears." I got the inspiration to see what would happen if all of the characters faced their worst fears, or at least, some of them.

-Here's how all the characters react to their fears: Tyler tries to fight it but ends up giving up, Macey lets fear consume her completely, Skylar fights her way through it, Alyssa cries, Shane tries hitting whatever's in front of him until it dies, Jenna tries to make it go away using whatever way possible, Jeremy would have tried facing it but would have ended up just trying to get away, Cameron tries to think his way out, and Quinn loses it.

-Jeremy is actually trans. He and Jenna are identical twins, meaning he was born a girl, but when he got older, he cut his hair himself, and told everyone that he was Jeremy now. Everyone just kind of went with it. Mainly because if they didn't, Jenna would whack them with an ax.

-My inspiration for many of the situations the kids have gone through came from watching this video:

I like doing this thing where I take videos and act them out as if my characters were in them, and I usually mold the stories to fit the video. The entire scene where the kids go to visit Lily and Josh was inspired by this video. (You might notice a part of the video sounds a lot like the scene between Josh and Tyler.)

-I might animate a trailer for the book also inspired by that last video, if I actually learn how to use OpenToolz. Can you tell I like that video?

(On a side note, my lip just started bleeding. Well.)

-When I get writer's block for this book, I blast New Divide by Linkin Park. It really helps me get inspired to write a new chapter. (Gee. I wonder why.)

-The entire Town of Salem bit was because I was absolutely obsessed with the Town of Salem song by Boyinaband and TheRPGMinx at the time of writing it.

-Jenna is pansexual.

-Ty didn't want to tell Skylar about Darklox initially, but she bugged him about his past so much he finally obliged.

-All Tyler knows about sword fighting comes from anime and cartoons. Sky doesn't really take him mob hunting anymore, because when Tyler was ten, he almost got himself killed trying to pull off an anime move on a zombie.

-I don't have a favorite kid, I personally think it's too hard to pick between all of them.

-Cameron is gay, but he doesn't really know it yet or care. I like to imagine that one day when he's sixteen, he'll be paired up with another boy for a science class, and ten minutes into the class he just thinks: "Crap, he's adorable."

-The reason I never said anything about the kids' sexualities is because it didn't matter to the story, and I didn't want any of the characters to have their storyline revolve around "Yeah they aren't straight."

-The amulet actually did work for Sky. The amulet's powers are very specific depending on who has control of it, and it doesn't always help by giving something physical. Sometimes it helps in other ways. Until I get around to explaining what it did, have fun making theories. :D

-Darklox's backstory will feature three (maybe four or five, haven't decided yet) that many people have been asking to be in the story for quite some time, and it will definitely be triggering for some, so be sure to be careful reading it.

-Most of my ideas for the story are told to my IRL friend Gii first, mainly because she likes the story and I like to get another person's opinion on ideas before I put them into the story.

-I was originally going to do "Adult Team Crafted" but then I realized that was kind of stupid, considering they're adults right now. And thus, Team Crafted 2nd Generation was thought up.

-After Team Crafted Second Generation is over, there will be no more official books in the overall series. I might do a parody style book later or some one shots, but other than that, nothing else will be written in the book series' universes. I'm planning on deleting some old stories that I have no inspiration for anymore, revising the other ones, and finishing the other ones after Tiny Team Crafted is all over, as well as starting some new series, so get excited for that! :D

-The second half of the story is taking heavy inspiration from Supernatural.

-Macey actually draws in her notebook more than anything else, and her favorite thing to draw is characters from her favorite cartoon, Bee and Puppycat.

-Alesa does exist in the universe. Although, as to where she is, that's a mystery.

-Shane, Jeremy, and Jenna played loads of video games in their free time back at the Kingdom, and their favorite game to play together was Overwatch.

-Shane's main in Overwatch was McCree.

-Jeremy's main in Overwatch was Roadhog.

-Jenna's main in Overwatch was Tracer.

-Alyssa's favorite thing about Minecraftia is the flowers. Plants can't really grow that well in space, so she finds them fascinating.

-Shane will be the only kid to go through an "emo phase". It'll only last a year, though. The age of 16 is frightening.

-Ty likes to joke that Skylar's been in her "rebellious phase" since she was three.

-Sky went back to bury Jin after they first escaped the first base, but he didn't let anyone go with him to do it. No one but Sky knows where Jin's buried.

-The character you all know the least about is Darklox. He's got a big story behind him and a bigger surprise ahead.

-Lily and Josh will come back at some point in the story and get their conclusion. They're currently looking for the Recruits who fled the Kingdom when Darklox attacked.

-Among those Recruits is Shane's mother and Jeremy and Jenna's mother, the only two moms out of all the others who aren't dead or far away.

And there you have it! A bunch of fun facts about TC2G! I might do this again in the future, with more little headcanons and stuff. :)
