"BREAKING NEWS!! A man has been murder! The man had bite marks all over his body! Police think that this murder was caused by an animal, and are going into further investigation!"

Sitting down on the lounge, animal attack? Bite marks.... There can't be more, can there? No! This is a dream! This isn't real! In this world we are all born, grow old and die, that's how the world works! There isn't a way to cheat death, there is no such thing as in immortality... But I can't wake up, this isn't a dream, this is real life.

I stood up from the couch and walked upstairs to my room. I walked to my drawers and picked out some clothes, I picked out my rebel singlet, black hoodie, grey sweat pants and my brown ugg boots, I tossed them on the bed and started undressing. I couldn't be bothered showering today. I had stuff to do. I needed to get to the library to find this book I found on the Internet, about the Quileute legends or something like that.

After I was done getting dressed I walked to the bathroom and did my hair. I applied a little mascara, in the process I managed to accidentally poke my contact which caused it to slide up. I pretty much threw my mascara thing into the sink and started to fiddle with my contact.

This is why you shouldn't rush doing your eye make up.

I finally got it out. I couldn't be bothered putting it backs in so I decided to take the other out and wear my glasses.

After breakfast, I grabbed my phone and earphones, I plugged in my earphones then put them in my ears. Walking on the side of the road, my mind full of thoughts, why was I walking to library alone?! Who knows what will happen.. The wolf, was it the ones causing the murders? Or was it Edward...? All these thoughts but even though I didn't want to know anymore, I had to.

Once I arrived at the book store, I immediately looked for the book I needed. I already know what it looked like, I just had to find it. I skimmed my fingers along the shelf until I found the one I was looking for.

'Quileute legends.'

I grabbed it off the shelf and walked to the check out. The guy was taking forever to scan it. I'm normally a patient person but today I wasn't. I grabbed out my money and put it on the bench before I grabbed my book.

"Keep the change" I said and walked out of the store.

Making my way out of the store I bumped into someone. "I am so sorry" I apologised.

"No that was my fault" a very familiar voice said, Jacob.

I quickly put the book behind my back and under my shirt. "Oh hey Jacob," I said.

"What did you have there?" He asked.

"Oh n-nothing! I gotta go! Cya!" I quickly ran off.

I let out a breath. That was a close one.

I stopped by the police department to see Charlie and see what was going on. It was just my luck, Charlie wasn't there. I sighed and thanked the officer at the desk before I walked away.

I decided to go to the park. I knew this one park that no one ever went to. People always said it was haunted but Bella and I loved going there when we were younger. It was a nice place to go to when you wanted to think or read.

When I arrived I took a seat on the grass and began to read.

When the sun began to fall, I was only a couple pages until I finished. Everything the book said, the cold ones, shapeshifters who could change into a powerful wolf. All these things.. Aren't meant to be real, as I made my way to the closest restaurant I continued to read. That was until I heard a howl, looking around I saw the wolf again but this time it was closer. It would've been like 3 metres away, the wolf was a jet black wolf with big black eyes, what scared me the most was its size, it would've been the same size as a grizzly bear. I stared at its eyes, I hesitated before I start walking towards it, it looked at my hand then turned and ran off, the speed of it was unbelievably fast, faster then a regular wolf. I stood there, in shock.. It was about 3 minutes after before I started walking again. When I arrived at my destination, I had finished the book, walking into the restaurant, I took a seat, looking around two people caught my eye Edward and Bella... Having dinner together.

Jealousy filled my body. Edwards eyes met mine. Hide! I picked up my menu and hid behind it, hoping he didn't see me. What are you saying! Of course he saw you!

I mentally face palmed myself. I peeked over the menu, he was still looking at me. Soon Bella was too. She got up from her seat and walked up to me. Oh boy...

"Hey... Abby, what are you doing here? Were you following me?" She asked.

"No, I had no idea you'd be here" I said.

"What are you doing out this late anyway?" She asked. Just play it cool...

"I wanted a new book to read... So I popped into the book store and got a new one, I then went to the park and read it. Obviously I lost track of time and boom! Here I am to get some grub" I smiled slightly. At Least my story was half true.

"Right...Anyways, I'm gonna go home" she said.

"Ok, after I'm done here I'm gonna drop by the station and see Charlie" I said.

"Okay," she nodded and they walked out.

I couldn't help but glare at Edward, I had to confront him, I needed to know if I was right or if it's just my mind messing with me. After eating I grabbed the book and my bag and walked out, it was the middle of the night and I had to walk to the station. Great!

Putting my hands in my hoodies pockets, I started to walk, every noise making me jump. I kept my head down and walked faster, I heard a twig snap behind me. Turning around I looked down into the darkness, I squinted my eyes to try and get a better look but it didn't work. Turning around, someone quickly grabbed my neck and lifted me up off the ground, squirming, kicking, trying to breathe I felt my life slip away. Darkness started to cover my vision when I was thrown a few metres, I looked at where I was, the wolf hovered over a man. The man kicked the wolf away and ran, he was fast, like he was gone.

I stood up, my legs felt like jelly, looking around, darkness covered my vision and I fell to the ground.
