I was watching tv, eating cereal peacefully when Bella merrily strides into the kitchen where Charlie was cleaning out his gun.

"Hey dad, I've got a date with Edward Cullen," Bella said. I scoffed, when don't you have a date with Edward?

"He's a little old for you, don't you think?" Charlie said. Try a hundred years... I giggled at the thought.

"He's a junior, I'm a junior. I thought you liked the Cullen's?" Bella said.

"I thought you didn't like any of the boys in the town," Charlie said.

I giggled a little. I walked into the kitchen and placed my plate in the sink.

"Edward doesn't live in town," I said.

He took his eyes off Bella and focused them on me. "Technically" he mumbled, taking a sip of his beer.

"He's waiting right outside.." Bella said.

"He is?" Charlie asked.

Of course he's waiting outside. So I guess it doesn't matter if Charlie says no or not.

When Bella got Edward and brought him in, I couldn't help but glare. He thinks that he can just walk in thinking everything's okay, well it's not! I mentally crossed my arms, I scoffed again earning a glare from Bella. I looked up and saw a smirk on Edwards face. Damnit! I forgot about the vampire hearing and him being able to read my thoughts. Sitting down I zoned out and played with a pen that was on the table.

"Abby?" I heard my name being called, zoning back into reality I looked at them.

"Someone called me?" I asked.

"Yes, I did" Edward said, "would you like to tag along?" He asked.

I raised an eyebrow, "tag along? What are you guys doing?" I asked.

"Baseball, would you like to join?" He asked again, I thought for a second.

"Sure" I shrugged my shoulders. I got up and walked over to them.

"Your going in your pyjamas?" Bella asked, eyeing me up and down.

"Yeah," I shrugged.

"Alrighty then," she said.

"I'll have your daughters back by 7:30pm," Edward said.

Charlie nodded. With that we all left out the door. I hopped into the back seat of Edwards car and plugged my earphones into my phone.

When we got to Edwards house, I was once again shocked that his was his house. Hopping out, I wrapped my arms around myself to keep warm. We walked inside and towards the garage, as Edward opened the door we walked down into the garage and walked to a blue jeep.

I watched as Edward paid attention to Bella, jealously flowed throughout my body. I saw Edward smirk a little, I frowned and leaned on the car.

"Okay you girls ready?" Edward asked.

"Mmhmm" I groaned.

"Yeah!" Bella beamed, I scoffed and got in the back seat of the jeep.

As we drove further and further into the woods the weather seemed to get worse.

"Maybe we should go back? It looks like there's a storm coming," I suggested.

"That's why we decided to do it today. We can only play when the whethers bad," Edward said.

"Why?" I asked.

When we stopped walking, I looked over at the field. Four base mats were placed in sort of a diamond shape, the Cullen's all wore what you would see baseball players would wear. They all turned and looked at us walking towards them, I felt there honey/gold eyes on me, it was really intimidating.

Esme beamed and walked towards us, "welcome girls! Glad you guys are here, call them when you see them."

I stood back and watched as they all took their places, Alice was at the pitching hill. She looked up at the sky and smiled, "it's time."

I looked at the group, Rosalie took the bat and walked to her spot an got ready. Alice pitched the ball, it was faster the. Anything I've ever seen, you could literally not see it. Rosalie swung the bat hitting the ball, a loud crack of thunder echoed.

I now know why they needed the storm.

The ball flew faster, through the woods, Edward turned and ran for it. Holy crap! They're fudging fast! That's gotta be a home run right? As Rosalie got to the second base, Edward grabbed the ball and threw ball, Esme caught the ball and placed it on the home base just as Rosalie got there.

"You're out," Bella said, Rosalie walked passed Bella leaning towards her neck, taking a sniff before walking off.

"Good try," I managed to say as Rosalie stood beside me.

"Thanks," she smiled.

I played with the hem of my shirt. "I'm-" she cut me off.

"Abby, I know," she smiled.

"So you've heard about me," I chuckled nervously.

"Of course. Your the one who gave Edward sass about him sneaking into your house or something like that," she said. I felt my cheeks turn a light shade of pink.

"Oh, y-yeah," I giggled nervously.

"You don't need to be nervous, none of us are gonna hurt you," she said.

"Right. This is all still new to me," I said.

Watching as Carlisle hit the ball high up into the sky, he was certainly faster then the other by a lot. As Edward looked at it, Emmett also watched it, they both jumped up at the ball knocking into each other. They fell to the ground laughing, I couldn't help but laugh to.

As the game went on, it was calm and I started to feel more and more comfortable with the fact that I was surrounded by vampires. Alice looked back, her face dropped from the happy smile to a scared, worried face.

Edward looked up at Alice an ran to Bella, pulling her behind him. Rosalie grabbed my arm and pulled my beside her. I watched as three people walked out from the fog: a darker coloured man with dreadlocks, a paler man with blonde hair and a pale women with bright red hair. Their eyes all a deep red, as I watched them walk towards us I locked eyes on the pale man. James.

My breath caught in my throat, they walked toward us until they were in front of us, I totally zoned out as I watched James cautiously.
