"Abby!" I heard my name getting screamed from the top of the stairs.

"Yes?" I groaned.

"Can you do my hair and makeup?" She asked walking down the stairs. Right now I was on the lounge as I heard Bella frantically running around getting ready for prom. Oh how I wish i could go.

"Sure! Get me your stuff!" I said, I stood up an grabbed my crutches and limped my way to the kitchen. Bella waited sitting on a chair with a whole heap of makeup on the table. "Okay.. Let's see," I looked at the make up and grabbed out what I would use, I didn't want to make her look like a clown so I only put on a tiny bit of everything. When it came to her hair I curled it and pinned a bit back. Once I was finished, I stood back and looked at what I had done, "perfect."

I saw Edward coming and shooed Bella back up the stairs. She jogged upstairs and waited at the top to walk down and surprise Edward.

I stood at the bottom leaning on one of my crutches while holding a camera. I snapped a photo as Bella was walking down. She looked breath taking, she wore a blue dress that went just past her knees and her hair and make up looked amazing if I say so myself.

"Come on, get in there" I motioned for Edward to stand next to her. He put his arms around her and she did the same to him. I snapped the photo and frowned.

How I wish that were me...

I quickly replaced my frown with a smile. "Perfect" I smiled "now, go have fun"

I watched as Edwards held Bella's hand and walked out to Edwards car. I couldn't help the feeling of jealousy hit me, it sucked that Bella could go to prom while I'm at home on the lounge. I went to sit down again and do what I always did, flick through the channels but a knock on the door stopped me. I placed the camera down on the table and limped my way to the door, I opened it.

"Hey.. Jake" I frowned looking at Jacob, he wore a tux.

"Hey!" He smiled. I looked down at the box that was in his arms. "What's that?" I pointed at the wrapped box.

"It's for you," he smiled, I motioned for him to come in. He walked in and followed me to the lounge room, I sat down on the lounge. Jacob say next to me and gave me the box, I looked up and smiled, I unwrapped the rib ion and pulled it off, I grabbed the lid of the box and lifted it up. It was a dress, I lifted up the dress, it was a cream coloured maxi dress, I was completely breath taken from it, I looked at Jake then back at the dress.

"You said you wanted to go to prom, though I can't take you to the school prom, I made you your own. Now go get that dress on," he smiled. I stood up and limped my way up the stairs and got dressed into it.

I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. Doing a slow twirl I giggled. This is probably the nicest thing someone's done for me. I never imagined Jacob doing this for me.

I brush my hair out just deciding to leave it down, I apply a little mascara and put my contacts in. Once I was satisfied with how I looked I joined Jacob in the living room.

Jacobs mouth dropped open, "wow, you look beautiful!"

I blushed, "thank you, are we going to get going?" I giggled.

"Alright let's go!" He held out his arm, I linked arms with him and walked out to his car. He opened the passenger side door and motioned for me to hop in, I hopped in and watched him walked around to the drivers side.

"Do you even have your license?" I asked.

"Maybe," he smirked. I shook my head and giggled, he started the car and drove somewhere.

"Almost there..." Jacob said, guiding me to wherever he was taking me. I still felt a bit unsettled just letting him guide me around with my eyes covered, soon we came to a halt.

He uncovered my eyes, I was immediately greeted by hanging yellow lights, a little table with a white cloth over it and a nice meal set up on it. I smiled as I stared at the sight in awe.

"Wow.." I muttered, he smiled and lead me towards the table, he pulled out the chair. I sat down and pulled the chair towards the table, he walked around and sat on his chair.

"Eat up," he smiled, I looked at the meal that was set in front of me.

Chicken parmigiana, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, corn. What else could anyone want? It looked and smelled amazing. Without another moment to waste I dug into my delicious meal.

"Just a little bit hungry aye?" Jacob chuckled, I looked up from my plate and focused my eyes on him.

"Just a little" I smiled sheepishly.

After our meal we sat and talked for a little while. Talking about all our childhood memories, not like we had many but still.

He rose from his chair and walked around to me, holding out his hand he smiled "wanna dance?"

I hesitated before placing my hand in his. Music started playing from God knows where. He wrapped his arms around my waist while I wrapped mine around his neck. It was a little awkward at first but we soon got into it.

"Thank you, for doing this. I appreciate i,t" I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder as we danced.

"No problem," he smiled.

"No really Jake, thank you," I said, lifting my head and looking into his eyes.

Everything soon went into a peaceful silence, we just stood there slow dancing. I didn't have a care in the world, all I did care about was this moment. I found myself not thinking of Edward, Bella, James, all I thought about was the music.

"Are you okay?" Jake whispered.

I zoned back into reality and smiled, "perfect."

"Good," he smiled.

"Jake?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"How'd you get to me?" I frowned.

"I heard you..." He mumbled sheepishly.

"Heard me? We were miles apart, how did you hear me?" I lifted my head off his shoulder and looked up to him.

"I don't know, I just, I heard you... In my head," he looked down and smiled sheepishly.

I furrowed my eyebrows "how?" He shrugged.

"I don't know,"

Dun dun dunnnnnnnn! Well this is end of the first book of the twilight series fanfiction! What an awesome journey! Even though it was short but yano!
