I fluttered my eyes open, looking around I felt warm arms around me. I looked up and saw and women, she had hazel eyes and brown hair. I felt the warmth of her arms fade as I was placed on the ground, I looked back and saw her run off. As she reached the forest she turned and faced me, a smile formed on her face as she transformed herself into a jet black wolf.

My jaw dropped to the floor. I'm hallucinating... I need sleep. There was no woman and there was no guy who tried to kill me. I'm just tired. I was walking home and passed out... That's it.

Oh what am I kidding this is real! The legends, Edward and his weird ass family, everything! I felt like I was losing my mind. But I knew this was real. Surely Bella knows by now? She wouldn't just forget the inhuman things Edward could do? I know Bella and she doesn't just let things go.

"Abby!" Someone called out. I turned around and saw Charlie, Edward, Bella, Carlisle and a few police officers walking toward me.

"Abby! Are you ok?" Charlie asked, engulfing me in a big hug.

"I'm fine" I said once he pulled away.

"What happened to you?" He asked, eyeing me up an down.

"I was walking to the police department and then a guy just came out of no where and started strangling me. Then this- this wolf it came and protected me" I closed my eyes as I tried to remember the scenario that happened only a few hours ago.

Carlisle and Edward looked at each other as if they were telling each other something.

I glared at Edward before walking with Charlie into the station. I looked behind and saw Carlisle and Edward talking, turning around I walked behind a wall so I was hidden but close enough to hear their conversation.

"Edward, she cannot find out" Carlisle said.

"Carlisle... She already knows." Edward paused, "we know you're there Abigail." My breath caught in my throat, I peeked out from behind the wall and walked out cautiously.

"Abigail" Carlisle flashed a friendly smile.

"C-Carlisle" I stuttered.

"You don't have to be afraid of us, we're not gonna hurt you. We just want to know exactly what happened last night" he said.

"I already told you" I said and folded my arms across my chest.

"What did the guy look like?" Edward asked.

I thought for a moment. "He had long blonde hair and brown eyes that turned a yellowy- orange" I said.

"Abigail, listen that man is very dangerous. His name is James. From now on Edward will keep an eye on you" Carlisle said.

"I don't need a bodyguard! I can handle myself" I scoffed.

"Abigail, you have to listen-" I cut Carlisle off.

"Look with all do respect I really don't need or want your help. I will keep your secret but all I ask is for you to stay away from me and preferably my sister too" I looked at Edward when I said that last part.

"Abigail, that man is a dangerous man." Carlisle said.

"And how do you know that?" I raised and eyebrow.

"Because I can hear his thoughts.." Edward said.

"Hear his thoughts?" I scoffed.

"How do you think I knew you were listening to us, I knew you knew about us at the restaurant" he said.

"I--" I paused, "okay, what am I thinking in about now, huh?"

"Your thinking about that woman, the werewolf" he said.

He was right..

That's the only thing I've been able to think about this whole time.

"If you don't mind, I think I should get Abby home" Charlie said, walking up behind me.

"Of course" Carlisle smiled.

"Come on Abby" Bella said, wrapping her arm around me. She looked at Edward then back to me.

I couldn't stop thinking about how that woman literally just transformed into a wolf. What was her name? Did I know her? It looked like she knew me. Did she? All these  questions swarmed my mind like a frenzy of fish. I just want to get home and have a nice relaxing shower.

I hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. I wiped the fog off the mirror and immediately my eyes went to the red hand marks around my neck. I brought my hand up to my neck and skimmed my fingers over the marks.

I sighed and rest my hands on the sink. When I looked up again I saw him staring straight at me. My heart was beating out of my chest. I turned around, no one was there. I let out a sigh of relief and shook my head.

After I got dressed into my pjs, I made my way downstairs and to the kitchen. "Dinner ready," Bella said.

"Not hungry" I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and filled it up with water.

"Abby, you have to eat" Bella said.

"I'm. Not. Hungry." I placed down the empty glass into the sink and walked upstairs. When I got into my room I hopped into bed, covering myself with my quilt.

I fluttered my eyes open, sitting up I squinted my eyes. A male figure stood at the window, "Edward?" I frowned.

"Guess again" the man ran to me wrapping his hand around my neck, "I couldn't kill you before... But I can now."

I tried to scream, I squirmed and kicked but his grip around my neck became tighter.

"H-help!" I managed to scream, I heard the window open, I closed my eyes, I knew that this time I was going to die..

"Ahh, Edward" the man smirked and just like that the man was gone. Dropping to the ground, I took deep breaths in, a tear fell from my eye landing on the floor.

Edward rushed to my side.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I wiped my tears away "I'm fine."

Soon footsteps were heard coming up the stairs.

"Abby?" Charlie said, walking over to me. I turned to face Edward but he was gone. Like smoke in the wind.

"Are you ok? I heard a thump," he asked.

"I'm fine, I just had a bad dream," I said, taking a seat on my bed.

"Alright then..." He said and leaned down, planting a kiss on my forehead. "Call if you need anything" he said, I nodded.

I hopped back into bed and stared up at the ceiling, I heard a bump near the window. Covering myself with my quilt, I heard a chuckle.

"Abigail, it's me Edward," he chuckled.

Sitting up I saw him standing at the window. "You scared me," I sighed.

"Sorry, you don't need to worry. He won't come near you again" Edward said, I sighed and lied back. Closing my eyes I felt sleep take over.
