Stef and Lena stared down at Callie in shock and betrayal. Eyes wide and hearts pounding in their chest, it was like all they had known to be true was a lie. In this case it was. In their minds Brandon and Callie's so called "love" had just been one sided. Brandon kissed Callie, Brandon fell in love with her, she broke his heart. It meant nothing. But that wasn't the truth. Far from it actually. Callie loved Brandon like she hadn't loved anyone before. Not being able to be with him, to lie about him, to keep it in killed her.
Another warm tear ran down Callie's pale cheek.
"Wh- ah- when?" Stef staggered her words.
Callie closed her eyes and breathed in gently. She knew by saying this it could've potentially ruin every good thing she ever made of herself. A family, a home. But the lies consumed her.
"The night" she began slowly. "The night when Brandon, when he won the competition at Iddywild we-"
"Iddywild?" Stef's eyes widen as she felt a rush of numb through her.
Callie looked down at her hands and watched at tears fell to them.
"Wh- why? Why did you.." Lena tried to finish but her words faded away.
Stef wiped her nose then sat down on the seat next to Lena slowly.
"I'm sorry" Callie cried as another rush of tears ran down her cheeks.
"No I can't." Stef said standing up from her chair and turned her back. This time more angry than stunned.
Callie sniffed regretting saying anything at all.
Lena continued to stare at Callie like she was looking for something, for some one. Like the girl who she thought she was was gone and she was searching for her in the sadness of her eyes.
"Stef" Lena said as she looked away from Callie.
Stef breathed in deep then shook her head slightly. With a quick movement she sat down, laced her hands near her face and leaned in.
"Do you love Brandon?" She asked softly.
Callie's body tensed up.

Nick sat in the silence of his car. He could hear the soft sound of the students talking and the waves crashing into the sand on the beach. It felt soothing, but not to him.
Tears ran down his face. His heart pounded as he looked down at the hand gun still sitting in his glove box. His entire life had lead him to this moment. He though that if he was gonna kill himself why not put on a show, let them all watch, let Mariana find his lifeless body as she realises the pain she caused him, let his dad miss him for once.
With a deep breath he reached for the gun. It's cold metal prickling at the skin of his palm.
He stared down at it as he clenched it in his hand. His finger twitching closer to the trigger.
He lifted the gun up closer to his chin then underneath it pointing straight up lining the bullet to shoot through his head. He swallowed the mass of pain building up in throat as the tip of the gun bounced along his skin.
But something stopped him from pulling the trigger. Something that made him more angry, more aggressive.
He pulled the gun away from his throat and leaned in closer to the windscreen of his charger.
His eyes watched as Mat and Zoe walk hand in hand across the grounds. They stop and Zoe kisses him on the cheek gently. Mat smiles widely.
Anger ran through Nick. Mat just wrote Mariana a letter begging for her back, he sees the two kiss, and he's still with Zoe? That pissed him off greatly.
Nick swung open the door as the school bell rang and the students began to enter the building. Nick wiped away his tears with his sleeve then grabbed the gun and stuffed it down the back of his pants hinging it under his jacket.
He began to walk towards the school acting like all the other students. Tired and casually walking to class.
Nick waited until everyone was in before he made his move.
There was nothing but silence and the wind running through his silky blonde hair, it two drying the tears on his face.
He pulled the gun from the back of his jeans and gripped it tightly with his finger resting next to the trigger.
With one final breath, one last innocent breath, he began to head for the halls.

Callie looked away.
"Answer the question Callie." Lena said, she two sounding mad and frustrated.
Callie looked back up as she ran her tongue along her bottom lip.
"God, I'm gonna kill that boy." Stef said looking away and leaning back.
Callie frowned confused.
"After what happened before you would think a freaking restarting order be enough."
"Why?" Callie asked softly.
The two mothers looked to her.
"Why is this Brandon's fault?" Callie began more strong and frustrated. "I was the one who kissed him, I was the one who told him I loved him, I was the one who begged for him back. I'm the one who told, if you're gonna blame someone blame-"
Callie was cut off by a loud noise. A noise so dark and scary that no one would ever want to hear.
A gunshot.
