Jesus blinked not sure what to say.
"They must've got out." He stated nervously trying to believe the theory he said rather than the one he felt. The one where they were all being held hostage or something. "I'll be back."
"Where are you going?" Brandon asked as Jesus walked to the back of the room where there was another door leading to the storage room.
"Supplies." Jesus replied then continued.
Callie sat next to Brandon and continued to stare down at his arm.
"You need something" she said but her voice faded out as she began to crawl along the ground to Lena's desk.
She knees up and looked over Lena desk when a photo of the family caught her eye. They all looked so happy. Regardless to what could with the shooting the family would already be on the break. The whole Brandon situation was too much.
She looked away then opened on of the draws.
It was stacked with pencils packets and staples, nothing she needed.
She opened another draw inside was a first aid kit.
She ripped it out of the draw then crawled back over to Brandon.
She knelt down next to him with her knees touching his thigh.
She opened the first aid kit and rummaged through it for a bandage or anything to stop his bleeding rather then his hand.
She pulled out a bandage and held it in her hand.
"Thanks."Brandon said as he tried to grab it from her but she pulled her hand away.
"No, let me do it." Callie began the placed the bandage between her teeth while she rolled up Brandon's sleeve with her hands.
She took the bandage out of her mouth and began wrap it around his bicep.
"Just stay still." She added.
If Brandon wasn't bleeding like crazy and the school wasn't in lockdown because Nick decided to shoot it up then he probably would've smiled.
"Thank you." He whispered to her then rested his head back against the door.
Callie tied the bandage up then unfolded his sleeve until it was half covering the bandage.
"You should know something" Callie  began sounding worried "just in case we don't..." Her voice faded out she continued to adjust the bandage
"Callie" Brandon said like she just said something stupid.
"um, moms know...about Iddywild. They know."
Brandon stared at her in shock as his eyes widened realising that things were all down hill from here.
"Wha- how?" He muttered anxiously.
"I'm Justina-" Callie began but Jesus cut in as he wondered back into the room.
"The cops are here"
They both turned to him.
"You can see through the window. There like a SWAT team and everything."
"That's good right?" Brandon said as a small smile stretched across his face.
"Well yeah" Jesus replied sitting down on the other side of Brandon. "How's the arm?"
"Pretty good." Brandon replied.
Callie stood up slowly and peered through the window.
"Oh my god." She aid in an almost yell as she fell to the ground.
Brandon scurried up from the ground into a squat and looked through the door.
"Nicks got Mariana." Callie reported.
Jesus' eyes widened as he felt himself tense.
"What?" Brandon called.
Jesus got up from the ground and stood up form the ground.
He pushed around Brandon then pushed the door open.
Brandon grabbed his wrist.
"What are you doing?" Brandon asked.
Jesus looked down on his and frowned.
"That's our sister there" he said with fury like he was trying to remind Brandon.
"Nick won't hurt her." Callie stood up again and looked through the window. No one was there.
"Are you really gonna take that chance?" Jesus hissed back.
"He doesn't want Mariana he wants Mat." Brandon finalised.
"So what she's like bait then?"
"I- I don't know."
"Yeah, exactly we don't know, you too can stay here but I'm saving my sister." Jesus pulled open the door then stepped out silently.
Brandon watched him go with ease.
He took at breath in then stepped out the door.
"Brandon" Callie called after him as her heart raced and her legs felt weak.
Brandon looked her in the eyes then turned away and continued.
Callie shook her head realising what she was about to do and ran after him.
They were heading for Nick, for the killer.
The more they ran the scarier it got. The more paper and books were spread along the ground, the more lockers were open.
Brandon stopped right in front of something, Callie couldn't see.
She stepped to his side and almost screamed.
"Oh my-" she gasped then looked away instantly.
Brandon breathed in and out heavily as his eyes were wide and set on the object. The body laying flat on the ground. It was a girl, red hair maybe brown. A bullet wound in her back with dark rich blood pooling around her. They didn't even know who it was but they still felt a rid of loss and agonising pain.
"Come on." Callie grabbed his hand. Brandon didn't move he was stuck frozen. "Brandon come on." She said louder and tugged his hand harder.
Brandon finally moved and they both ran hand in hand after Jesus.
