Chapter 3

" KITTY! Chase is here he says he wants to talk to you." my mum called from the bottom of the stairs.

" YEAH? WELL I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO HIM." I yelled back. I really didn't want to talk to Chase right now, he really should not have done that, he shouldn't have punched Jake, I can handle him myself. I'm not a baby.

" KITTS he won't leave. It wont go until you talk to him." I took my phone out of my pocket and wrote

Hello, there I spoke to you now leave.

I clicked on add recipient and then scrolled down until I found Chases name, pressed send. And waited.

I waited until I heard chases phone alert in the doorway. He text me back saying that he was coming up to my room so if I was getting changed or whatever then I had to hurry up. As it was I just sat on my bed stony faced.

I heard a gentle knock on the door. " Kitts, can I come in?" he said softly and I noticed the pain in his voice but right now I didn't care, I was still pissed of with him and I was not in the mood to talk. " Will you listen to my answer or will you just go straight ahead and come in whatever I say?"

" the second one." he replied " well then you may as well come in hang you?" he answered by opening the door slowly, cautiously as if I was a wild animal in a zoo." Listen Kitty please will you forgive me I...I just couldn't stand him speaking too you that way."

" neither did I but the difference here is that I didn't bloody batter him isn't it." I almost screamed at him.

" Kitty I... Listen this is important and it's probably not the time to say this but..." the next bit came out in such a rush that I didn't understand him " KittyIloveyouandialwayshavebutiknowyoudontlovemesoifyouwanttocarryonjustbeingfriendsthatsfineitwillkillmeinsidewheneveriseeyoubutitsfine" which roughly translates from Chase rushing to English is: Kitty I love you and I always have but I know you don't love me so if you want to just carry on being friends then that's fine it will kill me whenever I see you but its fine.

" no "

" oh ok well that's gonna be Awkward tomorrow seen as you just rejected me and everything but I'll cope bye Kitts."

" no no wait Chase you big ofe, I meant that no I don't want us to carry on being just friends."

" so I'm just never supposed to talk to you again Kitty WTH!" he said with anguish clear in his voice."

" NO pretty boy I mean I want to be more than friends." he just stood there staring.

" w..w..well urrm so you want to go out with me?"

" wow your slow sometimes!" I said running to him arms outstretched and I clung to his neck as my hands found there way up to his hair, he kissed me and I kissed him back, until...

There was a knock at the door and my mums soft voice came through," Kitty, Chase has to go home your mum rang she says either that or you could stay for tea here but you need to tell her."

Normally she would have just burst in but she new that we were probably just making up and wouldn't want to be disturbed. Wow she is an understanding mum.

" I guess I should go."

" why my mum said you could eat here." I said breathlessly.

" well if we did they'd notice me staring at you like an idiot on love tablets. "

" well I supppose that you could just pick me up for school tomorrow."

Chase left and I was left to sit up in my room on my own eating pizza and watching telly. When I got a text saying:

Hey Kitty I just wanted 2 know if u want 2 go round 2 Kyle's 2nite Katies going 2.

I know it's not normal to write you name at the end of texts but chase always does just cos. That's what I love about him he doesn't follow everyone else around hes his one person.
