Chapter 21

KITTYS POV

" Please don't go, hold on for just a little longer Jinny, please, I'm begging you, please. " I whispered, my voice braking and cracking every few words, she was going to die, right now and I couldn't take it, I've only just found her again.

" I cant, Kitty, I'm sorry but I cant hold on any longer." she whispered back. Chase, Jay and Jet were stood beside me but Kyle and Katie sat in the corner. " I love you, Jay, Jet, Chase. You especially Kitty. Look after the great bumbling bafoons we call brothers, " she chuckled before her eyes slowly drifted closed. Before she took her last breath, before she was gone forever, before she died.

CHASES POV

Jinny was gone, Kitty was broken. She was sobbing silently, she threw herself over her sisters lifeless body. It killed me to see her like this. he brothers eyes were cold as they peeled her away, Jay comforted her. His eyes were warm, but still sad.

" Chase." a strangled voice whispered. kitty.

" Yeah?"

" Can you stay in my room tonight?" she whispered.

" yeah of course." I said as I ran over to her and gave her a huge hug. Jay stood up and Lifted her into his arms. He carried her to her room and placed her gently on the bed, I laid next to her and held her hand.

She was asleep. "Chase look after her, she. Needs you right now, she upset, angry and confused, and vulnerable for once. Please just make sure she's safe, if she needs anything, text me. " said Jay. He is a really good brother, really good.

JINNYS POV

Running, running down a hall that led to my heaven, I have to see them one last time, just watch them.

JAYS POV

I can't think, breath, anything, I fell cold inside, the only thing that drives me to carry on is Kitty, I couldn't protect Jinny but I can protect Kitty.

JETS POV

I can't think about the past, if I do I think I'll die from sadness, I just need to protect my friends, family, especially Kitty, she's broken, depressed and vulnerable.

KATIES POV

Everyones depressed, upset, but Kitty she's ten times as depressed and upset, she's also angry, broken and dare I say it scared.

KYLES POV

I'm worried about them, all of them especially Katie, Kitty is her best mate, and she's broken, that means that Katie is gonna be braking slowly as well.

KITTYS POV

Angry, scared, alone, broken, that's what I feel like.

" Hey, Chase."

" yeah?" he whispered in reply to me.

" I'm scared, what am I gonna do without her?"

" I know you're scared, and you're going to go to sleep, and wake up in the morning, and you're gonna keep fighting, fighting to go on, fighting to make her proud of you." he said enthusiastically.

" she isn't going to wake up tomorrow is she. And how can I fight when I feel so empty?"

" because your name is Kitty, and you are the controller of fire, you are a fighter, and we are all here for you ok? Now go to sleep." he whispered into the darkness.

" Ok" and those two little letters were the last thing I said before I fell asleep, into a sleep full of nightmares and ghosts of the past.
