Chapter 8: A little awkward...

Narrator (Yami)'s pov:

When CC turned on the television, is was playing a fnaf horror movie. But because both cat and hedgehog thought the movie was pretty boring, they just watched it to get their minds off Negamine.

Just then, Speed slowly turned to CC whose arms were crossed behind her head. He quietly said, "CC...can I tell you something?"

"Go ahead." CC replied, turning to Speed.

Just then CC noticed Speed's cheeks were flushing pink. "CC...I want to say something. Thank you for saving me......"

CC smiled. "You're welcome. How can I bear to see my boyfriend in pain?" she winked at him.

Speed was so embarrassed he buried his face in his hands, sitting his elbows on his knees, and was as red as a beetroot.

However, CC seemed more amused than surprised. She leaned closer towards Speed and gently said, "I have something to say, Speed..."

The brown hedgehog removed his hands from his face when he heard that. He turned to CC and asked, "And...what is that?"

The lavender cat smiled. Suddenly, she lifted Speed's chin up, and he seemed surprised. "W-what are you doing?" but without saying a word, she planted her lips onto Speed's.

Speed's muzzle immediately turned crimson and was shocked by CC's action. However, he soon calmed down, closing his eyes and enjoying the kiss.

Speed did not realise that CC had placed her hands on his shoulders, pushing him down onto the couch. And after another few seconds, they ran out of breath and pulled apart gasping for air.

"I'm so sorry......" CC said a little awkwardly. "but... you're really a very strong boy. Although, you can be so shy and cute at times... I love you."

Speed smiled. "...me too."

Then Speed gave CC a small peck on the cheek before going upstairs to the guest rooms.
