Chapter 38: Tiaka

Speed's pov

"We've finally reached!!" Andrina exclaimed as we got off the train at Yugla station.

Everyone turned to stare at us.

"Shut the hell up, Andri. People are staring." I heard CC warn her with her usual chilly, dark voice.

"But I'm so excittteeeeeeeddddd~~~" she said even louder.

I could see CC roll her eyes and facepalm. I sighed.

We walked until we found our hotel. The manager showed us to our room, which had three singles. It was a really beautiful room. The walls were a cerulean blue, the floor was made of smooth wood and there was a potted plant sitting right at the corner of the room. Based on my assumptions, those were Tiaka flowers, and looked similar to the African violet.

Andrina didn't seem to notice. She plonked her bags down onto the floor and ran onto the bed, lying down and shutting her eyes. "This is such a satisfying thing to do after riding the train for a whole day!"

CC smiled, taking off her hoodie. "It is a luxury to be staying here. And look, there's even a pretty potted plant at the corner of the room." she said, pointing at the Tiaka with her thumb.

Andrina's head turned to notice the flowers. She paused for a moment, then slowly got up and walked towards the plant. She stopped right in front of the plant.

She stared at the Tiaka for a long time. This was definitely the longest time Andrina has ever stayed completely silent. I peeked over Andrina's side. Her face seemed blank. Just then, I realised something.

Her eyes were changing color. They were no longer those energetic electric blue orbs. Instead, they have transformed into what seemed like dark purple voids, even darker than the flowers' deep violet color. The sides of her eyes were turning red, and she was shivering slightly.

"Tiaka......"
