Chapter 32 (long chapter): The battle

Narrator (Yami)'s pov:

Negamine sent a giant bolt of electricity at the seven animals. They quickly dodged before they were struck.

CC attacked first. She used her staff to shoot herself into the air, and did a homing attack at full speed. Negamine's clones kept shooting shurikens and knives at her. She dodged most of them, but one shuriken cut right onto her right eye, causing her to hiss in pain and fall back, but not before sending off three whole waves of hail towards the clones, sending three heads off to far away.

Just as the tuxedo landed on the ground, Andrina generated her wings and zoomed up into the sky. She picked up a humongous tree and threw it at Negamine, screaming, "TAKE THIS!!!"

The tree hit Negamine's left eye and blinded it. But Andrina was hit by a shockwave of darkness and thrown back.

Spark's eyes widened and he shot up, just like the two girls. He hit Negamine just like Andrina, but with a whole building this time. This one hit the middle eye and blinded it too.

Spark was however repelled back by Negamine, who shot the tree Andrina landed on his eye, back to Spark. Spark dodged it but fell.

Negamine regenerated his left eye and started laughing loudly, and continued to send thousands of almost undodgeable lightning bolts at the seven.

Rose and Bruce decided to attack at the same time. Rose sent a wave of dark matter towards the clones, knocking them off, but Negamine was immune to it and it didn't affect him. Bruce sent seven bolts of plasma towards Negamine, but it also didn't knock him down, but rather burnt off his tail.

Negamine, again, threw boulders and waves of tsunamis at them, and again they were hit and knocked off, but by some miracle managed to land on their feet (but spraining their ankles.)

Aqua attacked next, howling and sending the boulder and tsunamis back, but just being repelled again by Negamine's sudden blaze. She was, just like the rest, thrown back onto the ground.

Negamine continued to send lightning bolts off towards the seven, making them ignore their injuries and dodge them again.

"It's impossible to defeat this guy......" Aqua said sprawled out on the ground. "Now that he's gigantic, we can't fight him..."

"We can."

Everyone, including Negamine, tried to find where the deep source of sound came from, only to see Speed the demon hedgehog, whose eyes had turned olive and slitted, standing isolated in the middle of the plaza.

"Negamine did something very stupid that weakens his defence. And I know where his weak spot is..." Speed said with a voice deeper than he ever spoke.

"Stop bragging! What can you do to me after I have become gigantic!? Plus electricity is your weakest element!"

Speed answered calmly, "That's your strength, huh. That's wonderful. But actually, your strength has become your weakness."

Everyone stared at Speed in silence, wondering what he was going to say.

"Negamine, you did two very stupid things. The first stupid thing is to become humongous. The second thing is to keep shooting lightning bolts at us."

"How dare you say so!!" Negamine roared as he tried to send off another bolt of electricity. However, he was horrified when all that came out was a tiny spark. He also tried the tsunamis and darkness, but to no avail.

Speed smirked. "Heheh, Negamine. So you ran out of power...... so now let's take one off the list. Now all you can do is to defend yourself physically."

"And," Speed's eyes darkened as fiery wings sprouted on his back, "Now I can attack you even more easily, because..."

Everyone stared at the demon whose hands were already on fire.

"...because it increases the size of your weak spot!!"

Before Negamine could even react, Speed bolted up into the sky, roared in fury, and just like CC, made a homing attack, except he created a tornado. Like a comet, he spun at a full speed of 1000km/h at Negamine and burnt the spot on his chest.

With a huge growl, Negamine fell back, bounced off, and tumbled into outer space.
