Chapter 19: A small move, a big affection

Narrator's pov:

After about 5 minutes, both the cat and the hedgehog opened their eyes, as they looked at each other for the longest time they have ever done.

Speed was staring deeply into the tuxedo's warm onyx eyes, and CC instead got lost in the brown hedgehog's shining lime-and-teal orbs.

Finally CC couldn't hold it anymore. She connected her lips with Speed's as his eyes widened just a little. The tuxedo was stroking his face gently and he was flushing. However, Speed just wrapped his slender arms around CC's middle back, making the kiss much more passionate.

Speed then realised that the feline was playfully licking his bottom lip, so he also mischieviously used his own tongue to wrestle hers. The duo went on for a sec, accidentally falling onto the ground, and they parted laughing till their tears fell out, but with joy and joke this time.

"Lmao...I think I got sorta carried away..." CC got up and said, laughing like she's just inhaled some nitrus oxide.

"It's ok, but I'm not that easily dominated pal~" Speed said still laughing.

"Oh really?" CC smirked and said a little sarcastically. Then with one quick move she pinned the hedgehog onto the carpeted floor before he could react, both still laughing.

Speed put his arms in a surrender position and said returning the sarcasm, "Fine, I give up!"

CC giggled.

This was a really weird but great afternoon! both of them thought.
