Chapter Two
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up to the annoying tune of my alarm clock and groaned, “Five more minutes…”
I realized my mother wasn’t going to answer with, “Sure honey, just don’t forget to lock the door once you get out.” Maybe I just miss my high school days. But then again, I’d get to go back to where it all began as a teacher-isn’t that way better?
Begrudgingly, I got up and walked to the bathroom as slow as a zombie. I gave one good look at myself through the oval mirror; blue eyes sparkling with excitement, cheeks tinted pink, slightly full lips curved into a mysterious smile, eyebrows perfectly shaped into thin curves and hair sticking into different places. Sighing, I grabbed my comb and set the strands of hair back to where they were supposed to be.
Once I was satisfied with how I look, I relaxed into a nice, hot, bath-getting ready for the rather adventurous day ahead.
I walked out of my apartment thirty minutes later wearing my black, folded up skinny jeans, black, high-cut converse, and a black cardigan over one of my favourite white sleeveless loose shirts. My duffel bag was slung over my shoulder carelessly; containing my wallet, phone, my handy green notebook, my extra clothes for my coaching job and my make up kit. I bet the kids would eat me up. Who wouldn’t love a teacher who looked like she was the same age as them?
I threw my bag in the back of my BMW and slid on my Ray Bans before I took off. Just as I had predicted, kids were staring at me like a god.
The moment I swerved my car at the familiar curve of the parking lot, the teenage high school population couldn’t take their eyes off of me. Well, at the car at first but then as soon as I stepped out, whispers and cat calls could be heard.
Being the good little ol’ me, I ignored the attention they were giving me and sauntered right to the faculty’s office.
“Excuse me miss, but students aren’t allowed here.”
I whipped my head to the person who just accused me of being a teenager and mentally grinned. Well, well, well… What a surprise.
I gave him an innocent smile, “Yes sir.” And sauntered to the desk assigned to me.
I heard Garrett heave a sigh and I only smirked.
“Fine, pretend that you’re actually a part of the faculty but the Principal would definitely hear about this,” he scolded defiantly.
I turned my chair around playfully and grinned, “Thanks.” twirling my brown hair flirtatiously.
His only response was to lift an eyebrow with calculating eyes and finally left me alone. I stared at his back incredulously. Well, if he could pretend he didn’t recognize me-so be it. Fun was the perk with getting revenge and I’d gladly make him squirm and suffer under my wrath. Don’t worry; I won’t torture him to death… not yet anyway.
a/n next chapter will be a lot better. I’m still sick, sorry.
