"Drakey, it hurts," I whined, pulling on his arms. We were in the library, and I had just gotten back from Madame Pomfrey. Thanks to that Jamie I had a fractured wrist, which only has to be in a sling for a day because of a potion Madame Pomfrey gave me.

"Mm-hmm," Draco said as he looked through the books. He had two in his hands already.

"What's wrong with you?" I huffed, crossing my arms. "You barely ever come here, and now you're even getting books. What's this?"

I took a book from him, and he rolled his eyes.

"Walt Disney? How stupid," I snickered.

"It's not stupid," Draco snapped defensively, and snatched the book from my hands.

"How do you even know who Disney is anyway? I overheard some Mudblood saying how boring his movies were." I rolled my eyes.

"Because a friend told me," he retorted.

"Friend? You're friends with a Mudblood?" My eye twitched.

"It doesn't matter, and besides, she and I like reading these books," Draco hissed before he went to check out the books.

"She?" I frowned.

"Yes 'she'. Do you have a problem?" Draco kept walking, not turning to look at me.

"Yes I have a problem!" I exclaimed.

"Shh!" The librarian put a finger to her lips. I glared but lowered my voice.

"It's that Elsa, isn't it?"

"So what, Pansy?" Draco collected his books and headed out the door.

"I'm your girlfriend! Don't walk away when I'm talking to you!" I grabbed his wrist with my uninjured hand.

"Oi!" Draco yelped, dropping his books. They landed with a thud! on the floor. "Pansy!"

"What?!" I snapped. Draco turned and glared at me, and I'll admit it hurt.

"We aren't even dating Pansy, I just asked you to the Ball! You don't own me!" he yelled, picking up his books. "Leave me the bloody hell alone! And don't you dare go anywhere near Elsa!"

He turned to leave, then looked back at me.

"And I'm not going to the Ball with you. Don't even talk to me."

And with that he stormed off.

I sighed, dumping my books onto my bed. Now what am I gonna do? Word will get to my father and he'll be upset with me, and Pansy's family will be angry, and it's all just ugh.

I took off my robes and my tie, sitting on the edge of my four-poster bed.

"Draco? Is that you?" someone asked. I looked up to see my friend Damien Carter. He's a fifth year, but his best friend Mikael Reepmeyer, a Ravenclaw, is friends with Jamie and Aaron, so I know Mikael and Damien by default.

"Yeah," I replied. Damien sat down next to me.

"You okay?"

I glanced at the kid. He had just recently dyed his hair brown (he's naturally blond).

"I'll be all right. Thanks, Damien."
